SummersRadio™ New Music! The Presets - 'Goodbye Future'
The Presents have just released a new single called 'Goodbye Future' online today! 'Goodbye Future' is the Austalian duo's first new single since those released from their 2012 album 'Pacifica'. The song is available today on iTunes in Australia and New Zealand - no word yet on release dates for the rest of the world.
According to their label Modular Recordings 'Goodbye Future' 'is the first of a series of singles for The Presets across the coming
year' although there's no mention of a new album. The band will also be touring extensively in 2014 - including European summer festival dates - followed by a return to North America.
The Notwist have released a new single online called 'Kong'! 'Kong' is the first single from the German indie rock band's forthcoming new album (their eighth) called 'Close To The Glass'. 'Close To The Glass' will feature twelve new tracks and it will be released on Sub Pop on February 24th.
'Kong' is a refreshing romp reminiscent of The Cure and Pavement at their most uplifting... Enjoy!

Digitalism has just released a new song online called 'Fahrenheit 32'! The German duo note on Facebook that 'Fahrenheit 32' marks a new direction for them - and they've decided to give this new song away as a free download 'as a peace offering for what's about to come'. So I reckon that we can expect more club music and less poppy tracks from them, like some of those from their last album - 2011's 'I Love You Dude'.

I love how Kompakt describes Bouchet's sound: "it's still the same undercurrent of deranged minimalism running alongside a perfectly executed club framework and counterbalancing the occasional epic outburst."

SummersRadio™ Concert News! Kraftwerk - 'The Robots' (Official New Video)
German electronic pioneers Kraftwerk have just announced a number of North American concert dates including shows in Toronto and Montreal! The band will be performing a 3-D concert in Toronto on Saturday March 29th at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts, and at the Metropolis in Montreal the following night.
If you live in the Los Angeles area you will have the amazing opportunity to see the band up to eight times! They're performing two shows per night and playing a number of their albums in their entirety at each show - including The Man Machine, Trans Europe Express, Tour De France, Computer World, and even The Mix remix album. The Crystal Method have just released their new self titled album today! 'The Crystal Method' is the duo's fifth studio album - it features eleven tracks and it's available today on iTunes on the Tiny e Records label. The album was originally scheduled for release last year but it was delayed due to Scott Kirkland having to undergo brain surgery.
'Over It' is the first official single from the album and it features vocals from Dia Frampton. This is the rather amusing video... Enjoy!
L.A.'s LUXXURY have just released their latest remix (the 8th in a series) online today! This time LUXXURY take on the Eagles' classic 'Hotel California'. Now if you're a regular follower you may be experiencing déjà vu - I did feature a cool new remix of 'Hotel California' just last month (http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2013/12/summersradio-new-remix-free-download_2.html) . However this remix - while also influenced by synth pop - has a completely different vibe.
I love the vocoder on this remix. The last line of the song 'you can never leave' - has never sounded so final. It's the Eagles reimagined as aliens in 2077... Enjoy!
