SummersRadio™ New Remix + Free Download! Eagles - 'Hotel California' ( LUXXURY Edit)

L.A.'s LUXXURY have just released their latest remix (the 8th in a series) online today! This time LUXXURY take on the Eagles' classic 'Hotel California'. Now if you're a regular follower you may be experiencing déjà vu - I did feature a cool new remix of 'Hotel California' just last month (http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2013/12/summersradio-new-remix-free-download_2.html) . However this remix - while also influenced by synth pop - has a completely different vibe.

I love the vocoder on this remix. The last line of the song 'you can never leave' - has never sounded so final. It's the Eagles reimagined as aliens in 2077... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix + Free Download! Simon & Garfunkel - 'The Sound Of Silence' (LUXXURY Edit)

Los Angeles producer LUXXURY has just released a new remix online of Simon & Garfunkel's classic 'The Sound Of Silence'! 'The Sound Of Silence' was first released as a track on the duo's 1964 debut album called 'Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.' - however it didn't become a hit until a remixed version was released in 1965.

Now if you choose to remix a classic like this it's quite easy to ruin the song - unless you do it tastefully enough to be different while still maintaining the appeal of the original - and thankfully that's exactly what LUXXURY does here.
