SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Digitalism - 'Fahrenheit 32'
Digitalism has just released a new song online called 'Fahrenheit 32'! The German duo note on Facebook that 'Fahrenheit 32' marks a new direction for them - and they've decided to give this new song away as a free download 'as a peace offering for what's about to come'. So I reckon that we can expect more club music and less poppy tracks from them, like some of those from their last album - 2011's 'I Love You Dude'.

Digitalism are releasing a new EP next month called 'Lift'! The 'Lift' EP is set for a full release on September 23rd on the Kitsune label - but it's available now as an exclusive pre-release on Beatport here: http://www.beatport.com/release/lift-ep/1143739
The 'Lift' EP features three tracks - the title track which is a collaboration with The M Machine - 'Dudalism' which features Steve Duda - and a song called 'Electric Fist'. I'm not a fan of the title track as I find the synth sounds a bit dated/ over the top for my taste. 'Dudalism' is more to my liking as it features some nice strings and plenty of acid techno goodness... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Bloc Party - 'Truth' (Digitalism Remix)
Digitalism are releasing a new remix of Bloc Party's song 'Truth'! The 'Digitalism Remix' of 'Truth' is being released in celebration of ten years of the Toolroom Records label which was founded in 2003 by Mark Knight. The 'Truth' remix is released exclusively on Beatport on Monday (13th) and it will be available on iTunes on May 27th.
'Truth' first appeared on Bloc Party's album 'Four' and it was released as it's third single in February. This is the new 'Digitalism Remix'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! The Rapture - 'Sail Away' (Digitalism Remix)
Digitalism have just released a new remix of The Rapture's song 'Sail Away'! The track is one of six exclusive new songs included on the latest release in the DJ Kicks series - compiled by the German duo.
The compilation is available on a 22 track cd, on eight track double vinyl (all six exclusives are included) - and on download which features an additional track featuring a 77 minute continous mix. Their new album 'I Love You Dude' is released on June 20th and they've just released the new official video for the latest single '2 Hearts'. It features the duo battling some creatures that look like human asparagus - I've always known that vegetables were evil... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ Classic! The Teenagers - 'Homecoming' The new Digitalism song '2 Hearts' posted below reminded me of the sound of The Teenagers debut album 'Reality Check'. Apparently The Teenagers are at work on new material but no date is set yet for the follow up to their 2008 debut. Some people pegged this song as misogynistic, but I think that the band were actually mocking the difference between the way young guys and girls sometimes approach sex and relationships. This is a cool fan made video for their debut single 'Homecoming' from 2007 - made for an NYU toy photography course... Enjoy!

'2 Hearts' is noted as the 'first single' from the Hamburg band's forthcoming second album (I don't know if they forgot about 'Blitz' - or if it's not going to be included on the album at this point) which is called 'I Love You, Dude' (!) and set to be released on June 17th. This song is much more rock/ pop than the electronic 'Blitz' - but then their debut album straddled both genres as well - this is '2 Hearts'... Enjoy!
