Greetings Humans. In case you wondered why there was no third annual 'Love Stinks! Valentine's Spectacular, an unkind valentine stole my laptop that day (oh the stinking irony) so I've been offline for a couple days. My apologies - and now the show must go on - back to the music I say!!
Belgium's Marco Bailey has just released an amazing new artist album called 'High Volume'! 'High Volume' features 13 original tracks and it's out now on his own MB Elektronic's label. It's currently available exclusively on Beatport m'here: http://www.beatport.com/release/high-volume/1030806
'High Volume' features an array of styles - some downtempo and chill out tunes - and thankfully plenty of mind melting techno masterpieces. I reckon this to be the finest electronic artist full length album since Gary Beck's stunner 'Bring A Friend' from last fall. SummersRadio™ New Music! Marco Bailey - 'Whispering Leaves' (Original Mix)/ Christian Smith - 'The Judgement' (Original Mix)
Bedrock Records has just released their latest compilation called 'Bedrock 14'! 'Bedrock 14' is naturally the fourteenth artist compilation from the label started by Nick Muir and John Digweed fourteen years ago. The compilation compiled by Digweed features 21 solid exclusive unmixed tracks from the label's favorite artists and some of their latest signings, that proves that the label is still at the top of their game. It's available on both itunes and Beatport (much cheaper on itunes).
I've chosen my two initial favorite tracks - first up is Marco Bailey's 'Whispering Leaves' - the hypnotic and melodic tenth track on the compilation. It's that time of here year in Vancouver - the air is notably colder - leaves are everywhere. You can hear them whispering - saying terrible things... Enjoy!
Christian Smith's 'The Judgement' is the sixth track from 'Bedrock 14'
and it features a steady buildup that will lure you into the dance before you know it... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Loco & Jam - 'Colossus' (Original Mix) Marco Bailey's MB Elektronics label has released the second volume of it's 'Good Fellas' series! 'Good Fellas Vol. 2' is the latest in the various artist compilation EP series - this one features three new techno tracks.
All three tracks are good but my favorite of the bunch is track two from Loco & Jam - a duo from Northern Ireland consisting of Lloyd Reid and James Peoples. This song is appropriately named - as it is one massive (and expertly produced) tune. I love the keyboard sounds - especially in the breakdowns around three and five minutes in - where it sounds like a low flying airplane is grazing your ears!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Marco Bailey - 'Greedy Convention' (Original Mix) Belgium's Marco Bailey has just released his newest song called 'Greedy Convention' today! It's a one track single and is released on his own techno label MB Elektronics - that he formed in 2002 - and it's one sonic monster!
I'm not sure what the title is all about - a comment on recent economics perhaps? But then there are vocal samples in the song that talk about love, so perhaps not. I do know that 'Greedy Convention' begins inconspicuously enough - the hypnotic tech house groove lures you in. About two minutes in they take the song to the next level by flying into more techno territory with a parade of amazingly produced sounds that keep escalating. Then at 4:20 (!) in comes an awesome breakdown that soon builds the song even higher. I certainly don't support greedy people, but if this is the kind of music they're going to play at their convention I want in! :)

It's called 'Remixed At 16:05 Vol. 2' - the follow up to Volume 1 of course - which was released way back in December 2009. It features 10 new remixes from the Slovenian label. If you're looking for some tuneage to liven up your Monday you've just found it! First up we have the Marco Bailey & Tom Hades track 'Tienen' remixed by France's Da Fresh... Enjoy!
