SummersRadio™ New Music! Phil Kieran - 'Saturdays' (Catz n' Dogz Remix)/ (Dimitri Veimar Remix)

Belfast's Phil Kieran has just released a fantastic new EP called 'Night'! The 'Night' EP features five tracks - the original plus one remix of the song 'Liquid Night' and the original plus two remixes of 'Saturdays'. All five tracks are worth listening to here so it's been a challenge to decide which ones to feature - but being as it's Saturday let's go with today. Although it's clearly a hybrid of styles I hereby declare this remix of 'Saturdays' by Berlin's Catz n' Dogz to be a Stoner House™ instant classic... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Phil Kieran - 'Ghetto Face Place Space' (Original Mix)

Belfast's Phil Kieran has just released a new EP called 'I Can't Go On'! The two song EP features the title track and a song called 'Ghetto Face Place Space'. It's released on Tiga's sub-label Twin Turbo and it's available now on itunes and Beatport (cheaper on itunes).

                    

The title track 'I Can't Go On' is a fine acid tinged tune in it's own right - but 'Ghetto Face Place Space' is just far too ginormous to be contained on a b-side! I reckon I listened to at least 300 songs in the last 24 hours trying to figure out which one to post - but this one stood out well above the rest. It reminds me of the first time I heard other club classics the likes of Daft Punk's 'Da Funk', the 'Timo Maas Mix' of 'Dooms Night' by Azzido Da Bass and the 'Mylo Remix' of Freeform Five's 'No More Conversations'.

If there's any musical justice on this planet 'Ghetto Face Place Space' should be huge - the kind of track worthy of being played peak time this New Year's Eve - the one that trips everyone out :) There's no need to wait until then though... Enjoy!
