SummersRadio™ New Music! Chemical Brothers!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Chemical Brothers - 'Theme For Velodrome' (Extended Version)

The Chemical Brothers have just released a new single today called 'Theme For Veldrome'! Yesterday we featured Boris Dlugosh's new single called 'Cycle', and if you didn't know already a velodrome is an arena for track cycling. 'Theme For Velodrome' is the official song for London's Olympic Velodrome and it was written by the duo specially for the event.

The song is available on itunes in the U.K. and Europe today, and it's released tomorrow (Tuesday) here in North America. Ed Simons said in a Q Magazine interview that the duo's goal was to reflect “the sense of speed, pace and drama,” of the sport as well as the “incredible beauty” of the new London 2012 Velodrome’s architecture".

This is the 'Extended Version' of 'Theme For Veldrome'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Boris Dlugosch! Etienne De Crecy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Boris Dlugosch - 'Cycle' (Etienne De Crecy's Electronic Jail Remix)

Hamburg's Boris Dlugosch has just released a new EP called 'Cycle'! The three track EP features the original mix along with remixes from Etienne De Crecy and VNNR. It's released on Belgium's Lektroluv label and it's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/cycle/941037

'Cycles' presents quite a different sound from Dlugosch's many house hits of the 90's - instead going for a more hypnotic electronic/ techno feel. This is 'Etienne De Crecy's Electronic Jail Remix'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ It's My Party! Part 2! Blonds!

SummersRadio™ It's My Party! Part 2! Blonds - 'Time'

I originally planned to get two posts in yesterday before the birthday shenanigans took over, but I only had time to do one - which I believe is a sign that I had a good time :) Birthdays are often a time for reflection of course - one of the most popular questions to ponder is certainly 'Where does the time go?'!

Blonds are a duo based in New York City - a couple consisting of Jordy Asher and Cari Rae - who are releasing their debut album called 'The Bad Ones' on August 7th! They released their debut EP called 'Dark Roots' last November - which includes a cover of Radiohead's 'Talk Show Host'. The six track EP is available on Bandcamp as a free download here: http://blonds.bandcamp.com/album/dark-roots-ep

You can keep up with Blonds and news on the forthcoming new album on Facebook m'here: http://www.facebook.com/BlondsTheBand#!/BlondsTheBand

'Time' is a dreamy pop/ trip hop tune that suggests that the passing of time is perhaps less relevant - when it's on your side... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ It's My Party! Saint Etienne!

SummersRadio™ It's My Party! Saint Etienne - 'Over The Border'/ 'I've Got Your Music' (official video)

Today is my birthday and while I'm not having a party per se I've got at least two related posts planned before I become comfortably numb and/ or too sedated to post anything! :)

If you check out SummersRadio™ regularly you probably already know that London's Saint Etienne are one of my all time favorite bands - and their latest album 'Words And Music By...' (released in May) is one of the finest of their career. It's basically a concept album about music - which when you think about it isn't as common as one might initially think.

Bob Stanley has said that 'The general theme of the album is marking a route in your life through music' - hence the map on the cover art - which contains a total of 312 song titles! The opening track 'Over The Border' is my most favorite - as Sarah Cracknell's voice is always beautiful - but it's equally magical when she speaks (which we rarely get to hear) and here she tells a brief history of her life in music. Naturally I can relate as my entire life has revolved around music - every song is a memory - so many albums are a part of me.

So 'Over The Border' is a fitting birthday post song - as she talks about getting older - and doing so many things that I remember vividly as well - buying my first records - memorizing charts - and so on. It's an exquisite song that any massive music lover at any age can relate to... Enjoy!

Bonus Track/ New Video! 'I've Got Your Music' is the second single and video (I hope that 'Over The Border is the third!) released from their new album. The concept for the video is a simple but effective one - the band invited fans to send them a video clip of you holding up the cover of one of your all time favorite records. It's fun to see how many you can recognize - and I'm clearly not the only fan who also loves fellow Londoners the Pet Shop Boys as well... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Bonus Track! Miss Kittin - 'Girlz' (Original Mix)/ 'Silver Lake' (includes free download)

Caroline Herve aka Miss Kittin has just released a new single this week called 'Girlz'! The song is one of three tracks on a new EP released on the U.K. label Heidi called 'Heidi Presents Jackathon Jams'.

The EP includes a new song from Maya Jane Coles called 'Getting Freaky', along with the original version of 'Girlz' and a remix of it from tINI. It's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/heidi-presents-jackathon-jams-feat-maya-jane-coles-miss-kittin-and-tini/939894

As the title of the EP suggests the tunes here are party songs! The always lovely Miss Kittin is shaking it in the hood over a deep bassline covered in ever changing synth layers that will soon have you shaking along as well... Enjoy!

Bonus Track! 'Silver Lake' is a track that Miss Kitten released on Soundcloud last year to help promote Soul Aid - a program to raise money for an emergency relief organization called Civic Force - that has been helping Japan since the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. You can learn more about Soul Aid and donate here: http://soulaid.org/

Toronto's Crystal Castles have just released a new song online called 'Plague' - and they've made it available as a free download today! 'Plague' is the first single from their forthcoming third album (as yet untitled - most likely their third eponymous release) which will be out in September on the Fiction Records label.

'Plague' has a distinctly distant dramatic feel to it and if it's to your liking you can download a copy for free from their Soundcloud page here: http://soundcloud.com/crystal-castles/crystal-castles-plague?page=2

SummersRadio™ New Music! Black Moth Super Rainbow - 'Windshield Smasher'

Black Moth Super Rainbow are a four piece experimental/ electronic band from Pittsburgh who've released their new single online called 'Windshield Smasher'! The song is the first taster from their forthcoming new album called 'Cobra Juicy' which will be released in October on their own Rad Cult label.

'Cobra Juicy' will be available on download, cd, and vinyl in a total of over two dozen different packages that offer everything from stickers to latex masks to your own private rollerskating party with the band! 'Windshield Smasher' features vocoder infused vocals and layered synths over a catchy guitar riff - it sounds a bit like Air meets Crystal Castles... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Underset!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Underset - 'Moon Rover' (Deepfunk Remix)

Paul Volkanov aka Underset is a dj/ producer from Krasnodar, Russia who's just released a new EP called 'Moon Rover'! The EP features four versions of the title track - the original, an instrumental version, and two remixes. It's released on Bristol's Hope Recordings label and it's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/moon-rover/936710

The 'Deepfunk Remix' from Malta's Deepfunk is the real standout here and it's actually the first track on the EP. You can hear some definite old school electronic influences on this hypnotic trip to the moon from legendary producers like Giorgio Moroder and Bobby Orlando - this is 'Moon Rover'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music/ Remixes + Free Download! The xx!

SummersRadio™ New Music/ Remixes + Free Download! The xx - 'Angels' (Pacific Nations' Der Rausch Remix)

The xx released their new single 'Angel' on Facebook just days ago - and already there are nearly 40 remixes posted on Soundcloud alone! 'Angel' is the first single and first track on their sophomore album called 'Coexist' which will be released on September 10th on the Young Turks label.

So I listened to pretty much every remix - nearly every possible electronic subgenre is covered - a few are turrible, but there are some quite remarkable ones as well. I've chosen my two favourites of the lot here starting with this amazingly epic spacey transformation from London's Pacific Nations.

I like how they maintain the ambiance of the original and expand on it at the same time. It begins with great hypnotic vocals effects, gradually building up as it floats along perfectly - the is 'Pacific Nations' Der Rausch Remix'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! DJ Fronter!

SummersRadio™ New Music! DJ Fronter - 'I Do Not Understand' (Original Mix)

Jumping Jehoshaphats! There sure have been a lot of amazing trippy techno/ electronic songs released in the last couple weeks - and today we have another one!

DJ Fronter is an artist/ producer from Cali, Colombia who's just released a new EP called 'ADN'. The EP features two tracks - the title track and this song called 'I Do Not Understand'. It's released on Umek's 1065 Music Therapy label and it's currently available exlcusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/adn-ep/939923

As is the case more often than one might think it's the b-side on the 'ADN' EP that is most to my liking. I concur with the label's description of the track - "I Do Not Understand" is the equivalent of a sonic monster, with pitched vocals over a sharp rhythm section. Meanwhile, an aggressive bassline and constant rises kick things up a notch or three."

The cover art is also intriguing as always - it looks a bit like a headless horse - EEP! Enjoy...!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Thomas Schumacher!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Thomas Schumacher - 'Fangbanger' (Original Mix)/ 'Vorfreude' (Original Mix)

Berlin's Thomas Schumacher has just released a new EP - and started his own new label! His new EP is called 'Vorfreude' and it's the first release on his own new Electric Ballroom label. The EP features four tracks - the original plus one remix of the title track, as well as 'Fangbanger' and a remix of the song 'T.W.E.N.T.Y.'. The download is currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/vorfreude-ep/936328 and it's also available on 12" vinyl.

You can also get an exclusive remix of 'Vorfreude' - the 'MiniCoolBoyz Remix' - by becoming a fan of Schumacher's Facebook page m'here: http://www.facebook.com/ThomasSchumacherOfficial

As I was listening to the EP (particularly the two tracks I've chosen here) I was enjoying how each song is quite a journey - starting in one place and then taking you elsewhere - more than once. It's like when you go to a party with multiple rooms with different music - and as you're checking the place out and walking from room to room your timing is in synch - so as you walk into each room you manage to hear the highpoints of each night in each room! It would be a tough decision to decide which room to hang out in - as it was to decide which track to feature here - so I've gone for two :) That may be the effect that Schumacher is going for as both tracks here are included on is upcoming new album called... 'Rooms'!

'Fangbanger' is the second track on the 'Vorfreude' EP and I like how it hypnotizes from the very start. Please note that the label has only posted edits of these songs so far - the full length version of 'Fangbanger' is nearly ten mesmerizing minutes long (9:47 - as is the title track below at 9:45)... Enjoy!

This is the title track on the 'Vorfreude' EP - also an E ticket as it were... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! James Kumo!

SummersRadio™ New Music! James Kumo - 'Raindrops' (Original Mix)

Manchester dj/ producer James Kumo has just released a new EP called 'Stagger'! The EP features five tracks - the original plus two remixes of the title track - as well as 'Raindrops' and 'Last Man Standing'. It's released on New York City's Biatch Corp Recordings label and it's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/stagger-ep/937825

'Stagger' is a great tune as well but it's the second song on the EP called 'Raindrops' that reeled me in first - there's nothing but sun in the forecast for the next week but I can't wait for a rainy day to share this one! 'Raindrops' would be perfect for listening to in a flying car high in the sky at night. Where are the flying cars anyway?? I was promised flying cars in the future when I was a wee lad - what a ripoff!

Anyway this song is a sublime piece of spacey techno - think Tangerine Dream meets Underworld at their finest... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! BOOZ!

SummersRadio™ New Music! BOOZ - 'Acid Smoke' (Original Mix)

BOOZ is an artist/ producer from Naples, Italy who's just released a new EP called 'Timeless' today! The EP features three tracks - 'Stress', 'Mystical Means', and 'Acid Smoke'. It's released on the Staunch Records label and it's currently available exclusively on Beatport m'here: http://www.beatport.com/#release/timeless-ep/937699

The 'Timeless' EP seems aptly named - as I can picture myself listening to it years from now and still being blown away! Each song features wonderful layers of phenomenally produced sounds - I suspect that it will make many want to dance on a hot summer night!

'Stress' is a close second but I reckon that the third track on the EP - 'Acid Smoke' is my favourite thus far - it grooves along with the power of a freight (party) train with so much swagger that it would likely take you more energy to resist dancing to it than it would to just surrender... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Toby Dreher - 'M.R.T. 2012' (Kotelett & Zadak Remix)/ 'Chordhose' (Vinyl Mix)

Toby Dreher is an artist/ producer from Berlin who's just released a new remix EP called 'Freiluft In Remix'. The EP features five tracks - three versions of 'Chordhose', a song called 'Imagination' and this remix of 'M.R.T. 2012'. The original version of all three tracks appear on his 'Freiluft' album which was just released on July 2nd on the Rotary Cocktail Records label. Both the album and this remix EP are available on both itunes and Beatport - just half the price on itunes!

Let's begin with the last track on the EP - this is the 'Kotelett & Zadak Remix' of 'M.R.T. 2012'. The song features impeccable production - some cowbell even - and the couple on the cover art appear to be having a game of nude Frisbee on the beach... good times! Enjoy!

This is the first track on the 'Freiluft In Remix' EP - the 'Vinyl Mix' of 'Chordhose' - and like the previous track it's quite an adventure featuring wicked production... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ Classic! Duran Duran!

SummersRadio™ Classic! Duran Duran - 'Drive By'/ 'Crystal Ship'

Well I certainly didn't expect to be posting Duran Duran today - but this song just seems to fit the feeling in the air today. It's another hot and sunny one in Vancouver (Yay! - our June was one of the coldest and least sunny on record) and I haven't posted a classic for a while - and the last couple songs have also been dreamy summery sounding pop tunes, so let's make it a threesome!

'Drive By' is a song from Duran Duran's often maligned 1995 covers album called 'Thank You' - which was a tribute to their influences. While some of the tracks were indeed hit and miss (their cover of Public Enemy's '911 Is A Joke' is no laughing matter and should be avoided at all cost!) there were some true gems on this album - including their cover of Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day' which Lou himself said at the time was the best cover ever made of one of his songs.

For some reason I've always associated this album with summer - especially the song 'Drive By' - which is actually a remake or continuation of one of their own songs - 'The Chauffeur' - which was the closing track on their 'Rio' album. You can feel the summer heat in the air in the opening of this song - the keyboards almost sizzle while the strings seduce and the water cools you - even before the opening line 'It was the hottest day in July...'.

It appears that a fan has taken the original video for 'The Chauffeur' and altered it to make the accompanying song even more surreal. So grab a cold beverage, sit back, and... Enjoy!

Bonus Track! Their cover of The Doors classic 'Crystal Ship' is another highlight from the 'Thank You' album. Simon Le Bon channels the ghost of Jim Morrison perfectly and the music is just different enough to make it interesting - giving it an even eerier feel than the original... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Taken By Trees!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Taken By Trees - 'Dreams'

It's been a warm summer day here in Vancouver and there's a fresh cool breeze drifting in off of English Bay as the sun sets - the perfect setting for a dreamy pop song! It reminds me of Hawaii actually. Taken By Trees is the solo project of Swedish singer Victoria Bergsman - and 'Dreams' is the first single from her forthcoming third album - you may recognize her vocals from Peter, Bjorn & John's indie hit 'Young Folks'.

The new album is called 'Other Worlds' - inspired by a trip to Hawaii - and is set for release on October 2nd on the Secretly Canadian label (which is actually American - based in Bloomington, Indiana). 'Dreams' has just been released online this week and it will also be available on 12" vinyl featuring an extended instrumental and a dub version which you can pre-order here: http://www.scdistribution.com/music-shop.html?class=artist&artist=Taken%20By%20Trees&alpha=

Secretly Canadian describes 'Dreams' as "... touches of dub are gently layered with synths and Victoria's voice, floating along with the bass line. The music reflects the natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands -- floating in a perfectly blue pond, a kind breeze coasting off the waves, abundant deep green foliage, sweet slices of pineapple and milky coconut, the delicate pink of a seashell curled like a baby's ear."

Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Love Echo!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Love Echo - 'Lovecats'

Love Echo are a duo consisting of Vic Miranda and Vicki Glass - and they've just released a new cover of The Cure's 'The Love Cats'! Vic provides the dreamy sounds and production and Vicki provides the equally dreamy vocals. The band list the title as just one word - 'Lovecats' and it's only the second song/ single that the duo has released, following 'We' which came out in May.

The Cure released 'The Love Cats' as a single in 1983 - it became their first top ten single it the U.K. - and it later appeared on their compilation of early singles and b-sides called 'Japanese Whispers'. While the lyrics are completely intact on Love Echo's version - they're delivered in a much more sultry fashion - and the music has an altogether different feel.

There's no jazzy bits or any of Robert Smith's 'bah bat da buh's - just the hypnotic piano over a slow beat with some additional atmospheric synths. It's quite the transformation really - it's a lullaby now - not to be confused with The Cure song called 'Lullaby'!

If this fine cover is to your liking it's available for purchase on their Bandcamp page here: http://lovecho.bandcamp.com/album/lovecats and you can keep up with the duo on Facebook m'here: http://www.facebook.com/LoveEchoMusic

The twelve track album will be available on a plethora of formats including on cd, deluxe edition cd, a vinyl plus cd package, picture disc vinyl, and on download. It's produced by Alex Newport who's worked with Death Cab For Cutie and The Mars Volta - as well as bassist Gordon Moakes side project Young Legionnaire.

The 'Octopus' single is released on itunes today and it will also be released on a limited edition 7" single on August 13th. The song features their usual mix of guitars and electronic effects and bears a bit of a resemblance to Digitalism's hit 'Pogo'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Seph & Jeremy P. Caulfield!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Seph & Jeremy P. Caulfield - 'Gravitas' (Original Mix)

Argentina's Sebastian Galante aka Seph and Toronto's Jeremy P. Caulfield have just released a new EP called 'Virtues & Vices'! The EP features four tracks (one solo track from each artist - and two together) and it's released on Caulfield's own Dumb Unit label. The EP is currently available digitally exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/virtues-and-vices-ep/938394 and it's also available on clear 12" vinyl here: http://www.kompakt.fm/releases/virtues_vices

Up until today I'd never gone three days without posting - but on Friday evening at 11:59pm tragedy struck... my computer slipped into a coma! Attempts to revive it were futile so I took it into the computer hospital on Saturday - and now we're back with a new hard drive - hoo-ray! And a $220 bill - booo, hissss!

Alas we return in fine form with 'Gravitas' - the second track from the 'Virtues & Vices' EP - from both artists. All four tracks on the EP feature some nice well spaced out techno - but 'Gravitas' is the clear standout for me... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Secret Circuit!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Secret Circuit - 'Jungle Bones' (Prins Thomas Bonus Beat)

Secret Circuit is the project of Los Angeles producer Eddie Ruscha - with friends - and they've just released a new EP called 'Jungle Dogs/ Jungle Bones'! The EP features two songs and three tracks - the title song as well as two separate mixes - the 'Tiago Remix' of 'Jungle Dogs' and this 'Prins Thomas Bonus Beat' remix of 'Jungle Bones' by Norwegian producer Prins Thomas.

Secret Circuit infuse psychedelic elements into their music and Prins Thomas (also known for his work with Lindstrom) is known for producing space disco and the result on this remix could perhaps most aptly be described as psychedelic space disco - with a hint of acid techno... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! S_W_Z_K!

SummersRadio™ New Music! S_W_Z_K - '31 Techniques'

London's S_W_Z_K (aka Swayzak) have just released their new album! 'S_W_Z_K' is now the work of David Brown - James Taylor (the other half of the Swayzak duo) left a year ago. This is Brown's first album released on his own under the new moniker - and it's the first full length since 2007's 'Some Other Country'.

'S_W_Z_K' features ten tracks and it's out now on the German techno label Tresor - the download is currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/s-w-z-k/933918 and it's also available on cd and vinyl: http://boomkat.com/search?fields%5B%5D=artist&q=S_W_Z_K

David Brown describes the album's sound thusly: “The project was to make sonically powerful music that would work in clubs without necessarily making “club music”. The tracks are very minimal in the sense that no more than ten sounds were used, giving each track space to breathe.”

'31 Techniques' is the album's opening track and it's a perfect introduction to the album - a spacious piece of experimental techno... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Spitzer!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Spitzer - 'Sergen' (Extended Version)

Spitzer are a duo from Lyon, France (brothers actually) who've just released an amazing new EP called 'Sergen'! The three track EP includes the 'Extended Version' of the title track - as well as the original versions of 'Serpentine' and a wonderfully cinematic tune called 'Delenda' - and it's released on the InFine Music label. It's available on Beatport for $5.97 but it's a deal and a half on itunes - all three tracks for only $1.99!

The EP is also available on vinyl from Juno: http://www.juno.co.uk/products/sergen-ep/458482-01/ The original version of 'Sergen' will appear on their debut album called 'The Call' which will be released on September 3rd.

'Sergen' is quite an astounding tune - a bit like shoegazer techno. The duo are no strangers to indie rock - in fact they site the Washington D.C. post-hardcore band Fugazi as influences. The song features spacey electronics melding with bursts of guitar and feedback with proper (real) drums - this song/ EP won me over instantly on the first listen... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! The Raveonettes!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! The Raveonettes - 'Observations'

The Raveonettes have released their new single online called 'Observations'! 'Observations' is almost the title track from their forthcoming new album called 'Observator' which is released on September 10th (U.K.)/ 11th (North America). It's the Copenhagen duo's sixth full length album and it will be released on Vice Records. Here's the album cover art:

They're still in the process of making a video for 'Observations' but the song is available for purchase now on itunes - and at the same time the band have a link to a free download on their Facebook page and it says 'Share this song with your friends so we can spread the gospel of pure music!!!' so I reckon it's ok to share the link here.

Like the new album cover 'Observations' has a mysterious, distant - almost ghostly feel to it... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ Happy Canada Day! New Remix + Free Download! Oh No! Yoko! Germany Germany!

SummersRadio™ Happy Canada Day! New Remix + Free Download! Oh No! Yoko - 'Go Alien' (Germany Germany Remix)

                                                          Oh No! Yoko

Happy Canada Day to all fellow Canadians - we're 145 today! Today we shall celebrate with a track and remix both by Canadian artists - and both are from British Columbia! Oh No! Yoko are from Abbotsford and Germany Germany is based in Victoria - and as a Canada Day bonus the track is available as a free download!

This remix of Oh No! Yoko's 'Go Alien' by Germany Germany sounds like indie rock drifting through a giant electronic filter made of clouds! I particularly enjoy when the fuzzy guitar kicks in around 1:20. If this fine Canadian song/ remix is to your liking you can download a copy for free courtesy of Germany Germany simply by clicking on the icon below... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ Rare Mashup + Free Download! Blondie vs. Philip Glass! Daft Beatles!

SummersRadio™ Rare Mashup + Free Download! Blondie vs. Philip Glass - 'Heart Of Glass' (Daft Beatles Mashup)/ Blondie - '11:59'

First of all kudos to another music blog - The Omelette Chronicles http://theomelettechronicles.wordpress.com/ for exposing me to this wonder today! This mashup was created last fall but for the most part it's remained rather underground thus far.

Jonas C aka Daft Beatles is a mashup artist/ dj from London. He posted his first mashup online a year ago - of Daft Punk vs The Beatles 'Something About Us Comes Together' - hence his moniker. In just the last twelve months he's since posted 48 tracks on his Soundcloud page (all mashups) which you can check out here: http://soundcloud.com/daft-beatles

This version of 'Heart Of Glass' lifts the vocal from Blondie's 1979 hit of the same name - which floats in a most beautiful and haunting manner over Philip Glass's (instrumental) track 'Violin Concerto II' - and the results are quite stunning.

Blondie is one of my all time favourite bands - and I'm very happy to say that Debbie Harry is still alive and well - but it sounds like she's singing from the heavens here. Someday when she is no more I can picture myself listening to this powerful track and weeping. Despite being an upbeat worldwide disco smash, as Jonas C says himself 'I always thought they were bleak lyrics... "Soon found out I was losing my mind...'.

Tomorrow (July 1st) is actually Harry's 67th birthday and she still looks amazing (as always) - Happy Birthday Deborah!

If this mashup is to your liking it's available as a free download simply by clicking on the icon below... Enjoy!

Bonus Track! Here's a Blondie original that's always had an eerie feel to it for me - especially if you're listening to it at the right time of the night. Like 'Heart Of Glass', '11:59' is a track from Blondie's third album 'Parallel Lines' - in fact it was the b-side of 'Heart Of Glass' in North America. The lyrics have quite an urgency to them - you're left wondering if she'll survive until the next day... Enjoy!
