SummersRadio™ New Music! Phil Kieran - 'Ghetto Face Place Space' (Original Mix)

Belfast's Phil Kieran has just released a new EP called 'I Can't Go On'! The two song EP features the title track and a song called 'Ghetto Face Place Space'. It's released on Tiga's sub-label Twin Turbo and it's available now on itunes and Beatport (cheaper on itunes).

                    

The title track 'I Can't Go On' is a fine acid tinged tune in it's own right - but 'Ghetto Face Place Space' is just far too ginormous to be contained on a b-side! I reckon I listened to at least 300 songs in the last 24 hours trying to figure out which one to post - but this one stood out well above the rest. It reminds me of the first time I heard other club classics the likes of Daft Punk's 'Da Funk', the 'Timo Maas Mix' of 'Dooms Night' by Azzido Da Bass and the 'Mylo Remix' of Freeform Five's 'No More Conversations'.

If there's any musical justice on this planet 'Ghetto Face Place Space' should be huge - the kind of track worthy of being played peak time this New Year's Eve - the one that trips everyone out :) There's no need to wait until then though... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Clouds - 'Optic'

Scotland's Clouds have just released their new EP called 'Optic' this week! 'Optic' is a four track EP featuring the original mix of the title track, 'Future Blaster', 'Vaults', and a remix of 'Optic' by Jesper Dahlback. It's released on Tiga's Turbo Recordings label and it's available on both itunes and Beatport. Helpful hint: if this song is to your liking it's much cheaper on itunes :)

All four songs on the EP are solid, but it's the original version of 'Optic' that I like best. This is one quality tune from start to finish - I particularly dig the ultra spaced out feedback-induced vocal bits, and the funky driving percussion... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Clouds - 'Mr. Pink' (Original Mix)/ 'Articles' (Ado Remix) Sure, I'm going to post a few Christmas songs - but naturally I'm going to mix it up with some new music as well! Tiga's new sublabel Twin Turbo have just released their latest single - I particularly like their new motto on their Soundcloud page:

'Twin Turbo - over 100 days of bringing you the most foolproof, fool-tested battle MP3s, fit for only the hardest of drives'.

The sixth release on the label is from Clouds - who are from Perth Scotland - with their new four/ five track EP called 'Matter'. The EP features four songs on itunes and a bonus fifth track on Beatport - the title track, three versions (just two on itunes) of the song 'Articles', and a song called 'Mr. Pink'.

Several of the tracks on the 'Matter' EP (as befits the label's current motto) are amazing full on mind blowing acid techno bangers! I've chosen my two favorites thus far - I actually like them so much that I had to buy them before I even finished this post! First up we have the third track on the EP - this is 'Mr. Pink'... SummersRadio™ New Music! Gingy & Bordello - 'Body Acid' (KiNK's On Acid Remix) Gingy & Bordello are a duo from Toronto that just released their new EP called 'Body Acid' today! (available on both itunes and Beatport) The 'Body Acid' EP features four tracks - the original mix of the title track, plus two remixes by Bulgaria's Strahil Velchev aka KiNK - and a song called 'Amino'. It's the latest (and fourth) release on Tiga's new Turbo sub-label called Twin Turbo.

The 'Original Mix' of 'Body Acid' is really good - a classic sounding acid techno track - but this 'KiNK's On Acid Remix' is even better - a walk on the wilder side... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Australia - 'Sydney on Acid' Montreal's Tiga just launched his new sub-label called Twin Turbo last month! Tiga founded the Turbo Recordings label back in 1998, and on August 23rd he officially started the digital only Twin Turbo label. This is the second release on the label - an EP from Australia called 'Sydney On Acid'!

Australia consists of two members of Sydney's 'techno party' Motorik! - in collaboration with another one of 'Sydney's finest production teams' who thus far are keeping their identity top secret. This is the title track from their new EP 'Sydney On Acid' - a rather tasty acid techno sandwich... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Gesaffelstein - 'Viol'/ 'Opr' France's Gessaffelstein has just released a new EP on Tiga's Turbo Recordings label today! It's called 'Conspiracy Part 2' - the follow up to Part 1 which was released in April.        It features three tracks - two of which I shall feature here.

I've become quite a fan of Gesaffelstein's work - and I've been trying to pinpoint what I like about the sounds on this EP in particular - and I think I've got it. The title seems fitting (moreso than on Part 1) as the songs have this mysterious - almost sci-fi kind of sound to them. It sounds like the future - but the future as seen through the eyes of some 1950's black and white movie where alien robots take over the world!

This first song is also the first track on the EP - it sounds a bit like Daft Punk, only spacier - this is 'Viol'... Enjoy!



This is the second track on the new 'Conspiracy Part 2' EP which is available on both itunes and Beatport as of today - if you dig these songs I suggest going with itunes on this one as it's $2.97 (vs $5.97) for the whole EP! This is 'Opr'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Tiga - 'Love Don't Dance Here Anymore' (C2 Remix 2) Montreal's Tiga has just released his latest EP on itunes for 'Love Don't Dance Here Anymore' which first appeared on his 2009 album 'Ciao!'. The original album version was produced by Soulwax and this EP features 2 new remixes from Detroit techno legend Carl Craig. The original clocked in at a mere 10 minutes long so it's now been extended to over 12 and 13 minutes! There's also an instrumental version available - in case you haven't noticed itunes is a bit weird when it comes to songs over 8 minutes long - most often making them available as full album only purchases. Such is the case here - but it's quite a deal - as the 3 tracks combined are over 36 minutes long and the 'album' price for all three songs is only $1.99! This version is known as the 'C2 Remix 2'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Gesaffelstein - 'A Lost Era' France's Gesaffelstein has just released a new 5 track EP called 'Variations' - available on both itunes and Beatport. He's signed to Tiga's record label Turbo, and Tiga himself describes him as the 'next big French superstar'! I would have to agree - he's been getting positive reviews and club play support from the likes of Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, Laurent Garnier, The Hacker and The Presets to name just a few! This track alone won me over before I even finished my first listen... Enjoy!
