Tiga - 'Love Don't Dance Here Anymore' (C2 Remix 2) Montreal's Tiga has just released his latest EP on itunes for 'Love Don't Dance Here Anymore' which first appeared on his 2009 album 'Ciao!'. The original album version was produced by Soulwax and this EP features 2 new remixes from Detroit techno legend Carl Craig. The original clocked in at a mere 10 minutes long so it's now been extended to over 12 and 13 minutes! There's also an instrumental version available - in case you haven't noticed itunes is a bit weird when it comes to songs over 8 minutes long - most often making them available as full album only purchases. Such is the case here - but it's quite a deal - as the 3 tracks combined are over 36 minutes long and the 'album' price for all three songs is only $1.99! This version is known as the 'C2 Remix 2'... SummersRadio™ Classic! Lush Featuring Jarvis Cocker - 'Ciao!' The new Discodeine song posted below reminded me of another great song that Jarvis Cocker shared vocals on - this duet from Lush's 1996 album 'Lovelife'. The brutal honesty captured on this breakup classic is on the level of the Pogues & Kristy MacColl's 'Fairytale Of New York' - although they're clearly bitter with hurt you can tell that they still really love each other. This SO should have been released as a single but sadly it never was - I suspect that they didn't want to interfere with the singles schedule for Pulp's 'Different Class' - great tune though... Enjoy!
