SummersRadio™ New Music! Phil Kieran - 'Ghetto Face Place Space' (Original Mix)
Belfast's Phil Kieran has just released a new EP called 'I Can't Go On'! The two song EP features the title track and a song called 'Ghetto Face Place Space'. It's released on Tiga's sub-label Twin Turbo and it's available now on itunes and Beatport (cheaper on itunes).
The title track 'I Can't Go On' is a fine acid tinged tune in it's own right - but 'Ghetto Face Place Space' is just far too ginormous to be contained on a b-side! I reckon I listened to at least 300 songs in the last 24 hours trying to figure out which one to post - but this one stood out well above the rest. It reminds me of the first time I heard other club classics the likes of Daft Punk's 'Da Funk', the 'Timo Maas Mix' of 'Dooms Night' by Azzido Da Bass and the 'Mylo Remix' of Freeform Five's 'No More Conversations'.
If there's any musical justice on this planet 'Ghetto Face Place Space' should be huge - the kind of track worthy of being played peak time this New Year's Eve - the one that trips everyone out :) There's no need to wait until then though... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Loco & Jam - 'Colossus' (Original Mix) Marco Bailey's MB Elektronics label has released the second volume of it's 'Good Fellas' series! 'Good Fellas Vol. 2' is the latest in the various artist compilation EP series - this one features three new techno tracks.
All three tracks are good but my favorite of the bunch is track two from Loco & Jam - a duo from Northern Ireland consisting of Lloyd Reid and James Peoples. This song is appropriately named - as it is one massive (and expertly produced) tune. I love the keyboard sounds - especially in the breakdowns around three and five minutes in - where it sounds like a low flying airplane is grazing your ears!

The Japanese Popstars featuring Robert Smith - 'Take Forever' (The Deadstock 33's Remix) The Japanese Popstars are a band from Northern Ireland that are releasing a new remix EP on Oct. 18th! The EP is for the latest single from their second album called 'Controlling Your Allegiance' which was released in June. 'Take Forever' is the third single released from the album, and it features the vocals of The Cure's Robert Smith!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Classic Remix! Snow Patrol - 'Called Out In The Dark'/ 'Open Your Eyes' (Redanka Remix) Northern Ireland's Snow Patrol are set to release a new digital EP on September 4th! It's entitled 'Called Out In The Dark' and it contains four songs - the title track plus three other new songs called 'My Brothers', 'I'm Ready' and 'Fallen Empires'. 'Fallen Empires' is actually the title track from their forthcoming new album - their sixth studio release. This is the artwork for the single:
The video for 'Called Out In The Dark' was just shot on the weekend and is due for release soon. It was choreographed by Noemie Lafrance who also worked on Feist's videos for '1234' and 'My Moon My Man'! For now we have the audio - this is 'Called Out In The Dark'... Enjoy!
One thing cool about Snow Patrol is that they've released quite a number of decent remixes - and I suspect it won't be long before some of 'Called Out To The Dark' begin to surface - as there are a number of subtle keyboard bits that can easily be brought to the forefront. Here's a classic remix of their song 'Open Your Eyes' by Redanka - which was released in 2007 as the fifth single from their 'Eyes Open' album... Enjoy!
