Digitalism are releasing a new remix of Bloc Party's song 'Truth'! The 'Digitalism Remix' of 'Truth' is being released in celebration of ten years of the Toolroom Records label which was founded in 2003 by Mark Knight. The 'Truth' remix is released exclusively on Beatport on Monday (13th) and it will be available on iTunes on May 27th.
'Truth' first appeared on Bloc Party's album 'Four' and it was released as it's third single in February. This is the new 'Digitalism Remix'... Enjoy!

Giraffage has just released a new remix of Stardust's classic 'Music Sounds Better With You' online! San Francisco's Charlie Yin aka Giraffage has remixed the one-off track written by Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter and Alan Braxe - featuring the vocals of Benjamin Diamond which was released in 1998.
Giraffage adds a hypnotic keyboard riff that gives the song a more laid back feel while still maintaining it's club vibe and if it's to your liking you can download a copy for free from his Soundcloud page here: https://soundcloud.com/giraffage/music-sounds-better-with-you

Stockholm's Jeremy Olander has released a new song called 'Factures'!
Olander - who's released several EP's on Eric Prydz's Pryda Friends label - has released 'Factures' (no first 'r') on the Sudbeat Music label. Sudbeat was created in 2009 by Hernan Cattaneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The song is one of sixteen tracks included on the label's very first compilation called 'Sudbeats' - which is currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/release/sudbeats/1067779

'The Policeman Inside You'/'Famous Child Actor' EP features four tracks - the originals of each track plus one remix of each from Ambivalent and Sam Paganini respectively. Kudos to Octopus on reaching their 50th - I like how Sian describes its ascension: "In honesty we can't believe we made it this far,we thought we would be dead or in jail by now.Started with 50 bucks and a pipe dream,Octopus has grown into one of the top 5 selling Techno labels on Beatport in the last two years.Refusing management deals and buy ins along the way we are proud to be truly independent.We wanted to rock the balls off everyone on the 50th release so we went all out."
All four tracks on the EP are mind altering sonic wonders! Pet Shop Boys have just released their new single called 'Axis' today! 'Axis' is the first single from their forthcoming new album (their twelfth) called 'Electric', which will be released on July 15th through Kobalt Label Services. The album is produced by Stuart Price (aka Jacques Lu Cont, etc.) and PSB - it features nine tracks including a cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'The Last To Die'. 'Axis' is available on iTunes as of today. Here is the album cover art:
Pet Shop Boys are already touring in support of 'Electric' and they've just announced a Vancouver date - at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on October 3rd. Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at Ticketmaster.
It's great to see the duo moving on from the blandness of last year's 'Elysium' so quickly. 'Axis' is certainly their most full on dance single in some time, and if the full album has this much energy it sounds like they've got a winner - for real this time...
