Giraffage has just released a new remix of Stardust's classic 'Music Sounds Better With You' online! San Francisco's Charlie Yin aka Giraffage has remixed the one-off track written by Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter and Alan Braxe - featuring the vocals of Benjamin Diamond which was released in 1998.
Giraffage adds a hypnotic keyboard riff that gives the song a more laid back feel while still maintaining it's club vibe and if it's to your liking you can download a copy for free from his Soundcloud page here: https://soundcloud.com/giraffage/music-sounds-better-with-you

SummersRadio™ New Music! Giraffage - 'Feels'/ 'A Bird In Hand'
Giraffage has just released a new song online called 'Feels'! Charlie Yin aka Giraffage is 'just a dude making music' (as he says on his Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/giraffage) from San Francisco. He released his debut full length online in November of last year called 'Comfort' - which is available on Bandcamp here: http://giraffage.bandcamp.com/album/comfort.
'Feels' is a new song set to be included on a new as yet untitled EP that Giraffage hopes to release in August - and like his other recordings it's a dreamy soothing tune featuring lush layered production. As he says on his Soundcloud page 'Turn your speakers up and let love envelop your mind and your body'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Video! Girls - 'Honey Bunny' San Fransico's Girls are performing in Vancouver tonight at the Biltmore - and I can't wait to bask in the glow of 'Vomit' live! Girls have released a second video from the album - for their catchy new single 'Honey Bunny'. While the song's theme is similar - looking for love - this is a more lighthearted take on the subject - both lyrically and sonically. Singer Christopher Owens pokes fun at himself and his struggle with drugs with lines like 'They don't like my boney body/ They don't like my dirty hair/ Or the stuff that I say/ Or the stuff that I'm on' - but he has fun in the process. He's quite the seducer here - and he's clearly too sexy for a full length shirt!
'Honey Bunny' is officially released as a single next week - both digitally and on a limited 7" - this is the new Girls video for 'Honey Bunny'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Kaskade featuring Mindy Gledhill - 'Eyes' (Extended Mix) San Francisco based artist/ dj/ producer Ryan Raddon aka Kaskade has just released his latest single called 'Eyes' this week! 'Eyes' is the title track from his forthcoming seventh studio album (not counting his mixed compilations) and the follow up to last year's 'Dynasty' and 'Dynasty (Extended Versions)' releases.
What sets this and many of Kaskade's tracks apart from a lot of generic sounding female vocal house tracks are the singers that he chooses to work with. As is the case with his two most recent singles 'All That You Give' and 'Callout', 'Eyes' features the vocals of Mindy Gledhill - who provides a both sweet and sincere delivery.
Mindy Gledhill has released three solo albums - her first was a Christian/ gospel album called 'Sum Of All Grace' which came out in 2004, followed by the more pop friendly 'Feather In The Wind' in 2007 and her most recent album 'Anchor' came out last summer. I've heard this track being compared to Spiritualized - which certainly got my attention - and it is similar is some ways... from the meek yearning romantic vocals of lead singer Christopher Owens, to the epic gospel style backup vocals - plus the organ - but the guitars sound much more American.
