SummersRadio™ New Music + Concert News! Bear In Heaven - 'Autumn'
Bear In Heaven have released a new song online called 'Autumn'! Bear In Heaven are a Brooklyn three piece band that describe their sound on Facebook as 'Psych/Dub/Drone/Pop' - I'd also add shoegaze and space rock. 'Autumn' is the first track on their forthcoming new album called 'Time Is Over One Day Old' which will be released August 5th on the Dead Oceans label.

SummersRadio™ New Music! Oneohtrix Point Never - 'Music For Steamed Rocks'
Oneohtrix Point Never have released a new three song EP called 'Commissions I'! Daniel Lopatin aka Oneohtrix Point Never is a Brooklyn based experimental electronica/ vapourwave artist and the EP features songs composed for various art performances.
'Music For Steamed Rocks' is the first track on the EP which was released by Warp Records on vinyl only for Record Store Day (April 19th) and now it's also available digitally on iTunes.

Arthur's Landing has just released a new remix EP for the song 'Miracle 2'! Arthur's Landing are a Brooklyn future funk collective who record and perform the song's of Arthur Russell - who died in 1992 after spending two decades as part of New York City's underground dance and disco scenes.
The 'Miracle 2' EP features four remixes - one each from Algy Strutt, The Reflex, Andrew Clarke and DJ Yogurt + Koyas - and it's the first release on the new Buddhist Army label.

'Soft Light Rush' is the closing track on the new reissue of his previously self released debut album called 'Holiday'. 'Holiday' is released by Downtown Records and it's available now on iTunes.

SummersRadio™ New Music! Computer Magic - 'Another Science'
Brooklyn's wonderful Computer Magic has just released a new EP called
'A Million Years/ Another Science'! The four track EP includes the title track plus a remix by Chrome Canyon, as well as the previously featured song 'Everest' http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2012/06/summersradio-new-music-computer-magic.html and this track called 'Another Science'.
'Another Science' sounds like it could be influenced by some of my favourite synth pop artists over the years including Giorgio Moroder, Gary Numan, Dot Allison and The Human League to name a few - and yet I reckon she sounds as fresh as a spring morning. The EP is self-released and available on iTunes now!
This new song and EP also reaffirm Computer Magic as one of my favourite bands to emerge in the last of couple years. 'Another Science' features great layered synths and lush production - and the beautiful vocals of singer Danz are the icing on the cake... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Computer Magic - 'Don't Speak'
Brooklyn's Computer Magic have just released a new song online called 'Don't Speak'! Computer Magic are "made up of mewzickal produc3r Danz, and for live shows Egan on the drums." 'Don't Speak' is a cover of No Doubt's massive crossover hit from their 1996 album 'Tragic Kingdom'. Danz explains: "Just did a cover of No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak”. I guess that’s what New York blizzards do to people, make them cover 90’s songs. Enjoy."
Their cover - while quite faithful to the original structurally - has a different feel to it - more like a 70's pop song than from the 90's really. Either way it's much more refreshing to listen to this version than the original for the billionth time!
