Stockholm's Adam Beyer has just released a new EP called 'Flap'! The three track EP features three original tracks and it's released on the Mad Eye label - one of the imprints of his own massive Drumcode label. Matador and Hobo have just released a new EP called 'ENTER.GROOVES'! Gavin Lynch aka Matador is a dj/ producer from Dublin and Hobo is a Canadian dj/ producer from Sarnia, Ontario who's now based in Berlin. The camera seems to like these two :)

SummersRadio™ New Music! Atoms For Peace!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Atoms For Peace - 'Default'/ 'Other Side' (Stuck Together Remix)
Atoms For Peace is a five man experimental/ electronic 'supergroup' that includes Radiohead's Thom Yorke, their longtime producer Nigel Godrich, Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers - as well as their current live percussionist Mauro Refosco and drummer Joey Waronker. They've just released their first proper single online called 'Default' - following their split single debut with Other Lives called 'Other Side' last month.
'Default' is available as a one track single on itunes now in many parts of the world with a Canadian release scheduled for Tuesday the 10th. The band's debut album doesn't have a firm release date set yet but it's not expected until 2013. Although written with different personnel the song is not unlike some of Yorke's 2006 debut solo album 'The Eraser' or Radiohead's more recent forays into electronic music... Enjoy!
Bonus Track! As mentioned 'Other Side' was released last month as a two track split single with the band Other Lives on the 50 Weapons label. It's available on itunes and it features an 'Atoms For Peace Remix' of the Other Lives song 'Tamer Animals' as the a-side if you will, and this largely instrumental 'Stuck Together Remix' of their own song 'Other Side' as the flip... SummersRadio™ Concert News! Saint Etienne! Saint Etienne - 'Tonight' (Extended Version)/ 'Last Days Of Disco' (Erol Alkan's Extended Rework)
Saint Etienne have just announced their first North American concert dates in over five years today! Although they started their 2000 tour here in Vancouver we're not on the list of blessed cities this time BUT there are a couple of shows within driving distance! They will be performing in Seattle at the Showbox on Thursday November 1st - and at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland the night previous.

SummersRadio™ New Music! Jason Lytle - 'Your Final Setting Sun'
Jason Lytle has just released a new song (and premiered the video) called 'Your Final Setting Sun' online today! 'Your Final Setting Sun' is from the Grandaddy frontman's second solo album called 'Dept. Of Disappearance' which is released October 16th on the ANTI- label. The final date of Grandaddy's European tour was just last night in London and lucky for us he's wasted no time in focusing back on his solo work. No word yet if this is an official single or not, but skateboarder/ artist/ filmmaker Mike Aho has made an official video for it. Lytle describes the song to Rolling Stone as "a kind of fast-paced Western synth rock song."
'Your Final Setting Sun' is certainly worthy of being a single - I dig the synths - and it's almost rowdy compared to some of the rockier songs from his debut solo album 'Yours Truly, The Commuter' (which I loved - so this one could be even better!). This fun video features a brainwashing cult and one young man who escapes... Enjoy!

The duo from Lyon, France have just released a video for 'Sergen' and it's quite unique. It features a herd of sheep on a journey across the countryside and it fits the song surprisingly well.
It's directed by Louise Hemon and I particularly like it around 2:50 in where a number of animals - starting with the dog - seem to pose for the camera like they're a cast member on the opening credits of Saturday Night Live or some sitcom... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Kollektiv Turmstrasse - 'Ordinary' (Lake People's Circle Motive Remix)/ 'Lapacha' (Alex Q's Wir Geben Nicht Auf Mix)
Hamburg duo Kollektiv Turmstrasse have just released a new remix EP called 'Ordinary'! The EP is over 76 minutes in length and features a whopping ten remixes - four of a song called 'Lapacha' - and six of the title track. It's released on the Musik Gewinnt Freunde label and it's available on both itunes and Beatport (cheaper on itunes).
What's particularly impressive about this EP is that the remixes are all such unique journeys that you'd never know that it was only two different tracks - as it flows like a great melodic ambient techno album should. I've chosen two standouts from it - first up is impeccably produced 'Lake People's Circle Motive Remix' of 'Ordinary' - the fifth track on the EP... Enjoy!
'Alex Q's Wir Geben Nicht Auf Mix' of 'Lapacha' is the opening track on the 'Ordinary' EP. It's accompanied here by a video simply featuring a couple of families having a day out at the beach, but it's shot so beautifully that it's actually quite surreal and it fits the song nicely... Enjoy!

Brooklyn's Frankie Rose has just released a new remix online of her song 'The Fall'! Frankie Rose is a former member of three Brooklyn bands - The Crystal Stilts, Dum Dum Girls, and Vivian Girls. She released her first solo album under the name Frankie Rose & The Outs in 2010, and her latest album as simply Frankie Rose called 'Interstellar' in February.
She'll soon be releasing a new EP for her song 'Night Swim' that will include two demo tracks and a bonus disc including two new remixes from The Go! Team, and this one from London's Fort Romeau. If this dreamy electronic remix is to your liking her label Slumberland Records have made it available as a free download on Soundcloud - simply click on the download icon below.
