SummersRadio™ New Remix + Free Download! Frankie Rose - 'The Fall' (Fort Romeau Remix)
Brooklyn's Frankie Rose has just released a new remix online of her song 'The Fall'! Frankie Rose is a former member of three Brooklyn bands - The Crystal Stilts, Dum Dum Girls, and Vivian Girls. She released her first solo album under the name Frankie Rose & The Outs in 2010, and her latest album as simply Frankie Rose called 'Interstellar' in February.
She'll soon be releasing a new EP for her song 'Night Swim' that will include two demo tracks and a bonus disc including two new remixes from The Go! Team, and this one from London's Fort Romeau. If this dreamy electronic remix is to your liking her label Slumberland Records have made it available as a free download on Soundcloud - simply click on the download icon below.

SummersRadio™ New Music! Gorillaz - 'California & The Slipping Of The Sun' This is the second last track on the Gorillaz new 15 song album called 'The Fall' and was recorded in Oakland. Apparently there are plans for a physical release although no date has been set thus far. I'm not sure if this would be a wise decision as a lot of it sounds unfinished - more like a collection of demos than a proper album. I like this song as it starts out quite ambient and gets more dancey towards the end - but even still it seems to end too quickly. SummersRadio™ New Music! Gorillaz - 'Aspen Forest' Gorillaz released their new album called 'The Fall' on Christmas day! It was recorded on the North American leg of their 'Escape To Plastic Beach World Tour' which started Oct. 3rd in Montreal and wrapped up here in Vancouver on Nov. 3rd. It has been released 'free' to fans - meaning that you can download it legally for free if you're a member of their official fan club - but you must pay to be a member! It was recorded using an iPad - along with a number of additional instruments. This instrumental number called 'Aspen Forest' was partially written in Santa Fe and then finished here in Vancouver...
