SummersRadio™ New Music! My Bloody Valentine - 'If I Am'/ 'Who Sees You'
Dublin's My Bloody Valentine have just released their new album today! It's taken over 20 years to follow up their landmark 1991 album 'Loveless', but Kevin Shields and the band have finally done it! The album is simply titled 'm b v' and it's first attempted release was last night just prior to midnight on their official website - which promptly crashed.
They then posted each song individually on YouTube so that fans can give the album a listen (each track has been uploaded with fade ins/outs and at a reduced quality of 192kbp to avoid illegal copying) and their new website is now officially up and running.
'm b v' is released in three formats - as a download, as a cd plus digital download, and on 180g vinyl plus a digital download. The download is available now, and the cd's and vinyl will be available for shipping in about three weeks - and they will feature 'slightly different but similar artwork' from that seen on the clip below. While most North Americans have been spending today obsessed with footballs and Beyawnce I've been listening to 'm b v' deciding which of it's nine tracks to feature - I've chosen 'If I Am' and 'Who Sees You'.
'If I Am' is the fifth track on 'm b v' and one of several songs on the album featuring Bilinda Butcher on vocals - it's also a fine example of their dreamy drifting side... Enjoy!
'Who Sees You' is the album's third track and one of it's heavier shoegaze numbers... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Matador - 'ENTER Svinx' (Original Mix)
Matador and Hobo have just released a new EP called 'ENTER.GROOVES'! Gavin Lynch aka Matador is a dj/ producer from Dublin and Hobo is a Canadian dj/ producer from Sarnia, Ontario who's now based in Berlin. The camera seems to like these two :)

'ENTER Svinx' (each song title is preceded by 'ENTER...' which appears to be a brand of sorts) is the third track on the EP and is a playful hypnotic tune featuring piano scales climbing over a chugging bassline with cowbell sprinkles and bonus spacey siren sounds! SummersRadio™ New Music! Aki Bergen featuring Lazarusman - 'Get Better' (Original Mix) Aki Bergen is a dj/producer from Dublin Ireland who's styles include dub, deep house, electronica and downtempo. He's just released a new EP on Italy's Neurotraxx Deluxe label called 'Together'/ 'Get Better'. It features the original mix of 'Together' and three versions of 'Get Better'. This song expands on the themes of yesterday's post from Mark Fanciulli - pondering some of the important questions of life (like 'When will the blunts get longer?') :) and the power of our own thoughts...
