SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Paperfangs - 'Lifelong' I fell in love with Finland's Paperfangs just over a year ago I reckon - in fact it was on November 9th 2010 - a Tuesday. I like their mix of both acoustic and electronic instruments - and their use of samples. I also quite like the singer - his melancholy but romantic voice reminds me a bit of Dntel's Jimmy Tamborello and in another way Jon Marsh from The Beloved. Back in 2010 I could only feature one song per post due to Fb issues so I posted their first two songs separately. 'Lifelong' features an enthusiastic (and possibly insane) sounding child's vocal sample - great keyboard sounds - and the wonderfully simple yet romantic lyric(s) 'You said lifelong/ is it still on'. It also has some kind of cool bell - not cow per se - perhaps tubular :) ... Enjoy!
