SummersRadio™ New Music! &ME - 'Glaced' (Original Mix) &ME is an artist/ dj/ producer based in Berlin who's just released his latest EP called 'Purple Rain' on the Keinemusik label! The EP features two tracks - 'Purple Rain' and 'Glaced' - and both are in interesting mix of house, techno and minimal. The title track is also good (and not related to Prince!) but it's the b-side that's won me over here.
'Glaced' begins at a chilled pace - gradually adding some sustained keyboard sounds and undiscernable background chatter - that gives it a nice loose three dimensional feel. The song then changes directions a few times - switching back and forth between two rather hypnotic and relaxing, but still driving grooves - that together form a rather excellent Stoner House™ tune... Enjoy!
