SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Paperfangs - 'Bathe In Glory'

Paperfangs are releasing their full length debut album called 'Past Perfect' on February 22nd! I fell in love with Paperfangs when I heard their first two singles 'Oh I Wandered' and 'Books' back in the early days of SummersRadio™'s official blog in 2010, which you can revisit here: http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2010/11/summersradio-new-music-paperfangs_09.html and m'here: http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2010/11/summersradio-new-music-paperfangs.html

The Finnish trio have just released the first new single from 'Past Perfect' on Soundcloud called 'Bathe In Glory'. 'Bathe In Glory' will soon have you basking in beautifully melancholy synths reminiscent of early New Order - and if it's to your liking you can download a copy for free courtesy of the band here: http://soundcloud.com/paperfangs/bathe-in-glory (or simply click on the download icon below)

You can also keep up with news on their forthcoming debut album on Facebook m'here: http://www.facebook.com/Paperfangs This is 'Bathe In Glory'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Paperfangs - 'Lifelong' I fell in love with Finland's Paperfangs just over a year ago I reckon - in fact it was on November 9th 2010 - a Tuesday. I like their mix of both acoustic and electronic instruments - and their use of samples. I also quite like the singer - his melancholy but romantic voice reminds me a bit of Dntel's Jimmy Tamborello and in another way Jon Marsh from The Beloved. Back in 2010 I could only feature one song per post due to Fb issues so I posted their first two songs separately. You can revisit one of their first releases - and their very first video - for 'Books' here: http://summersradio.blogspot.com/2010/11/summersradio-new-music-paperfangs.html

Their song 'Oh I Wandered'
http://summersradio.blogspot.com/2010/11/summersradio-new-music-paperfangs.html made my Best Of 2010 list last year. Speaking of which - it's getting near that time again - I've been making some mental notes for a while now actually - so coming soon then!

Today we have a brand new Paperfangs song called 'Lifelong' that's just been released on Soundcloud this week! If it's to your liking it's available as a free download here: http://soundcloud.com/paperfangs/lifelong (or click on the download arrow below) and you can keep up with the band on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/Paperfangs

'Lifelong' features an enthusiastic (and possibly insane) sounding child's vocal sample - great keyboard sounds - and the wonderfully simple yet romantic lyric(s) 'You said lifelong/ is it still on'. It also has some kind of cool bell - not cow per se - perhaps tubular :) ... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Paperfangs - 'Oh I Wandered' So I really dig the first Paperfangs song and video posted below - and yet somehow I love this song even more! I like the lines 'We are the shoeless the everlasting We are the charmers afraid of asking'. Enjoy...

SummersRadio™ New Music! Paperfangs - 'Books' Finland's Paperfangs reveal a bit about themselves: "We are Paperfangs, a collective of three daydreamers scattered across Finland. A brother, a sister and a friend. We find our inspiration in old movies, late-night biking trips, second-hand shops, picnics and love." This is their first video... Enjoy!
