Alkalino has just released a new remix of The Cure's 'Let's Go To Bed' online! Lino Rodrigues aka Alkalino is a dj/ producer from Munich, Germany. 'Let's Go To Bed' was released as a single by The Cure in 1982 and it later appeared on their 'Japanese Whispers' album. This is the cover art from the original 12" single:
This isn't a radical remix - it's basically the original 12" 'Extended Mix' with house beats added in just the right places - which is why it works so well.

I wish I was in London today! Not for the full on hoopla of the closing of the Olympic Games - just for the free concert in Hyde Park! The concert featured the same theme as the closing ceremonies - 'The Best Of British' - and was headlined by Blur, featuring special guests New Order and The Specials. While we wait for the reviews to come in so we know what we've missed, let's enjoy a couple rare remixes - one from Blur and one from New Order.
'Song 2' was first released as the second single from Blur's fifth (self titled) album in 1997. The song has been remixed countless times since - this version was remixed last summer by Swiss dj/ producer Kevin Miller. SummersRadio™ New Music! Kaskade featuring Mindy Gledhill - 'Eyes' (Extended Mix) San Francisco based artist/ dj/ producer Ryan Raddon aka Kaskade has just released his latest single called 'Eyes' this week! 'Eyes' is the title track from his forthcoming seventh studio album (not counting his mixed compilations) and the follow up to last year's 'Dynasty' and 'Dynasty (Extended Versions)' releases.
What sets this and many of Kaskade's tracks apart from a lot of generic sounding female vocal house tracks are the singers that he chooses to work with. As is the case with his two most recent singles 'All That You Give' and 'Callout', 'Eyes' features the vocals of Mindy Gledhill - who provides a both sweet and sincere delivery.
Mindy Gledhill has released three solo albums - her first was a Christian/ gospel album called 'Sum Of All Grace' which came out in 2004, followed by the more pop friendly 'Feather In The Wind' in 2007 and her most recent album 'Anchor' came out last summer.
