Dum Dum Girls have just released a new song and video online called 'Lost Boys And Girls Club'! 'Lost Boys And Girls Club' is the first new song to surface from the New York based band's forthcoming third album which is due out in January on Sub Pop Records.
The video for "Lost Boys And Girls Club' was made with some help from the Swedish worldwide clothing company H & M. It's the first video in a new series from H & M Life that will see the company working with young and developing artists from around the world.
'Lost Boys And Girls Club' is our first glimpse into what the new album might sound like which vocalist Dee Dee described in a recent interview with Stereogum (http://www.stereogum.com/1540451/progress-report-dum-dum-girls/franchises/progress-report/) 'There’s a lot more guitar — textural guitar stuff — which is why I brought on an additional guitar player for the live show'... SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Warm Speakers - 'Youth' Patrick Berlinquette is a singer/ songwriter from Long Island New York that is currently recording under the name Warm Speakers. He released his five song debut EP called 'Mezcal Noon' in July - and he's just released his newest single 'Youth' online as a free download!
While the 'Mezcal Noon' EP is perhaps best described as chillwave - which is often characterized by having rather lightweight vocals - Patrick actually has a strong singing voice. His new single 'Youth' is definitely more experiemental/ electronic - and expertly produced. Blondie's new album is called 'Panic Of Girls' - it's their ninth studio album - and their first since 'The Curse Of Blondie' which was released in 2003. Phantogram - 'When I'm Small' (RAC Mix) The Remix Artist Collective (who just remixed Peter Bjorn & John in yesterday's post) have been together since 2007, remixing artists such as Bloc Party, Dragonette, Chromeo, The Shins, The Gossip, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, U2 and Radiohead. They released their first compilation called 'RAC Vol. 1' to celebrate their first year together - as a free mp3 release through Stereogum.
Last month they officially released 'RAC Vol. 2' online - which features remixes from artists such as Phoenix, Delorean, and this recent single from New York's Phantogram. 'When I'm Small' was first released in 2009 on the Saratoga Springs N.Y. indie label Sub-Bombin Records. They later signed with Barsuk Records and they released their debut album called 'Eyelid Movies' last February. RAC take the already memorable trip hop song and replace the guitar hook with keyboards that eventually wash through the song, making it sound even more surreal than before!

It's a great remix but then in July German dj and producer Alexander Ridha - better known as Boys Noize - got his hands on it and we have this darker take on it - but still a massive club stomper...
