How about a laugh for Christmas? I know I needed one - cheers to my friend Farshad for finding this song! It's perfect for a 4:20 post on this very special day. This is TBC Poundsystem's festive take on LCD Soundsystem's 2002 opus 'Losing My Edge' - created by two gentlemen from London - Tim from Mutantpop and Jeb 50PoundNote.

This is a new 2012 remastered version of the song parody they first recorded in 2005. It's backed by a mashup up of several songs besides LCD's tune including Michael Jackson's 'Don't Stop Til You Get Enough' and 'Funkytown' from Lipps Inc.

'Losing My Sledge 2012' is the first release on Tim and Jeb's new label Kuma-Chan Records. And as a Christmas bonus the pair have made this highlarious track available as a free download on Soundcloud m'here: http://soundcloud.com/mutantpop/tbc-poundsystem-losing-my

'You Trashed My Christmas' is one of sixteen songs on a new festive compilation called 'A Christmas Gift For You From Elefant Records' that also includes artists such as The School, BMX Bandits, The Yearning and The Magic Theatre.

'Doors In The Storm' is a rather radical rework of The Doors classic 1971 single 'Riders On The Storm'. 'Welcome To Paradise' is a track from Front 242's 1988 album 'Front By Front'. It also appeared as the b-side on their massive 'Headhunter' single - and I reckon I'm not the only human that liked it even more than the a-side. Dominatrix RMX updates the song nicely while still maintaining the gritty industrial energy of the original.

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Beat Connection Featuring Chelsey Scheffe - 'Think/Feel' (Saint Etienne Remix)/ (Official Video)

Seattle's Beat Connection have just released a new remix of their latest single 'Think/Feel' online! Beat Connection opened up for Saint Etienne when they performed in Seattle at Showbox last month - they also remixed Saint Etienne's track 'Last Days Of Disco' - and now the London trio has returned the favour and remixed their single 'Think/Feel'.

'Think/ Feel' is from the band's album called 'The Palace Garden' which is released on the Moshi Moshi Records label and it's available now on itunes (in the U.S.). Thus far this chilled remix is not yet available commercially so... Enjoy!



Beat Connection also recently released the official video for the original version of 'Think/Feel' which features some nice surreal dreamlike imagery... Enjoy!
