SummersRadio™ New Music! Paul Ritch - 'Common Sense' (Original Mix) Paul Ritch is a dj/ producer from Paris and he's just released his new EP called 'Circus' this week! The EP is released on the SCI + TEC Digital Audio label which is based in Washington D.C. It has five tracks - the original mix of 'Shake It', along with a remix from Daniel Stefanik - as well as 'Common Sense' - and two dj tool tracks. I prefer 'Common Sense' out of the two main tracks - and I was just thinking the other day how common sense doesn't really seem to be that common at all! I really like the artwork on this one too... SummersRadio™ New Music! MixHell - 'Antigalactic' (Remixes) MixHell are a duo from Brazil - featuring Iggor Cavalera - best known as the drummer for Brazil's Sepultura - and his wife Laima Leyton! MixHell 'aims to fuse together the best and most uplifting elements of the rock and electronica scenes to create a „Rock-tronica“ effect.' Nice - I've been describing my dj sets as 'rocktronica' for years!

MixHell have just released their new 4 track EP on Boysnoize Records called 'Antigalactic' today! It contains the original version, followed by a 'Mumbai Science Remix', the 'In Flagranti Special Forces Mix', and 'Gui Boratto's Out Of Bounds Mix'. This clip gives you between two and three minutes of each version - in the order posted.

The original mix is a nice bouncy electronic number and Mumbai Science add some nice trippy keyboard bits and a more techno feel (you can tell when the mix changes as they say 'exclusive` before each one), In Flagranti slow it down and make is spacier - and Gui Boratto goes for a more minimal effect. I like them all but I'm leaning towards the 'Mumbai Science Remix' as being my favorite so far... what do you think? Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Death Cab For Cutie - 'You Are A Tourist' Bellingham Washington's Death Cab For Cutie have released their new single online today! It's called 'You Are A Tourist' and it's the first single from their forthcoming new studio album (their seventh) called 'Codes And Keys', which is released on May 31st! It's available now on itunes - and they're also planning to record a video for the song on April 5th - in just one take! Tune into http://youareatourist.com/ next Tuesday at 4pm (Pacific time) to watch. It's scripted, so it could be flawless - but it's live and they're only doing one take, so who knows - but it's an interesting idea. Of course at his point we don't know if it's a straight ahead performance piece or something elaborate with special effects galore - either way they still have a week to practice though. SummersRadio™ New Music! Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi featuring Jack White - 'Two Against One' Since 2005 producer extraordinaire Brian Joseph Burton aka Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi have been composing a spaghetti western album! Jack White and Norah Jones are the main vocalists on the album that also features musicians who played on the original Ennio Morricone scores from the 60's. If you didn't know, a spaghetti western is a sub-genre of western films that were dubbed as such because the films were largely produced and directed by Italians - and originally filmed and released with Italian dialogue.

The album is called 'Rome' and is released on May 16th. The first single 'Two Against One' will be a limited (1,000 copies) 7" release in the U.K. to coincide with Record Store Day - which is April 16th! Despite being a spaghetti western composition, Jack White's vocals makes 'Two Against One' sound very much like it could be from a White Stripes album - but then they always had a western look and feel to a lot of their music, so it's a great fit... Justice - 'Civilization' So we finally get a proper full version of Justice's new single - not a snippet, not a live version, and not a cut from the Adidias commerical with sound effects all through it - this is 'Civilization' - the full version in high quality HD sound! The new single will be released exclusively through itunes on April 4th (5th in North America) and then available through other outlets on the 11th. *update* It's available on itunes today (29th) - a week early! Olivier Giacomotto & Damon Jee - 'Spaghetti' Olivier Giacomotto is dj/ producer from Bordeaux France - as is Damon Jee - and they've just released a brand new EP called 'Cheerleaders'! It's out on the Definitive Recordings label - which was started by Canadians John Acquaviva and Richie Hawtin in 1992 - and is based in London Ontario. It has four tracks - the original versions of the title track and another called 'Spaghetti', as well as a remix of each song. This is the original mix of 'Spaghetti'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! WhoMadeWho - 'Every Minute Alone' (Tale Of Us Remix) WhoMadeWho are a three piece band from Copenhagen that have just released their new single today! It's called 'Every Minute Alone' and it's available as a two track 12", and as a three song download on Italy's Life And Death label - hence the EP is actually called the 'Dead Remixes'. It features remixes of 'Every Minute Alone' by Tale Of Us and Michael Mayer (vinyl and download) and a third one from both Tale Of Us and Seth Troxler (download only - available exlusively on Beatport).

The single 'Every Minute Alone' is from WhoMadeWho's forthcoming mini album called 'Knee Deep'- which is released on the Kompakt label on April 25th. SummersRadio™ New Remix! Daft Punk - 'Tron Legacy (End Titles)' (Sander Kleinenberg Remix) Well here's something that you don't hear of everyday - a soundtrack remix album! Walt Disney Records have announced that they're releasing a collection of remixes of selected tracks from 'Tron Legacy' called 'Tron Legacy R3CONF1GUR3D'! It will contain 15 tracks and it's released on April 5th.

This makes perfect sense because I'm sure that more than one or two Daft Punk fans were a bit disappointed that the original soundtrack didn't have much in the way of clubby tunes - and those that were close were too short - but then as we all know it was written to fit the film. So considering Daft Punk's huge fanbase - which I suspect has widened even further with this soundtrack - I wouldn't be surprised to see this remix album become a top 10 hit as well.
