The EP is called the 'Keys And Codes Remix EP' - quite obviously featuring remixes of tracks from their 'Codes And Keys' album which was released at the end of May.

Bonus Track! Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello (aka Dntel and James Figurine) formed The Postal Service and released their debut album - and only full length release so far - in 2003. I suspect that the new 'Keys And Codes Remix EP' will be of some comfort to fans who've been waiting eight years for a follow up - at least to hear Ben Gibbard sing on some more electronic tracks.
This is The Postal Service's 'Nothing Better' - the 'Styrofoam Remix' - from the EP for 'We Will Become Silhouettes' which was the fourth single released from their 'Give Up' album. I love the female vocals on this song - which are provided by Seattle's Jen Wood of the Jen Wood Trio... Enjoy!

Glowbug - 'Where Is My Mind'/ 'Shoplifters Of The World Unite' Bellingham's Glowbug have just released a new EP called 'Covered In Lights Vol. 1' online today! Glowbug is the name given to the electronic project of musician/ producer Daniel Anderson - who's also a member of the indie folk outfit The Ghost And The Grace, and a founding member of the band Idiot Pilot.
He's just released Glowbug's latest 4 track EP of covers called 'Covered In Lights Vol. 1' - which features covers of songs from indie rock heavyweights The Pixies, The Smiths, Radiohead and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's! SummersRadio™ New Music! Death Cab For Cutie - 'You Are A Tourist' Bellingham Washington's Death Cab For Cutie have released their new single online today! It's called 'You Are A Tourist' and it's the first single from their forthcoming new studio album (their seventh) called 'Codes And Keys', which is released on May 31st! It's available now on itunes - and they're also planning to record a video for the song on April 5th - in just one take! Tune into http://youareatourist.com/ next Tuesday at 4pm (Pacific time) to watch. It's scripted, so it could be flawless - but it's live and they're only doing one take, so who knows - but it's an interesting idea. Of course at his point we don't know if it's a straight ahead performance piece or something elaborate with special effects galore - either way they still have a week to practice though.
