Brooklyn's Computer Magic have released a new video online for their song 'Trinity'. 'Trinity' is the second track on their 'Orion' EP which was released last month on the Kitsune label (available on itunes). SummersRadio™ New Music! Noir & Richard Davis!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Noir & Richard Davis - 'Found Out' (Deetron Sunshower Dub)
Denmark's René Kristensen aka Noir has just released his latest EP called 'Found Out' this week! 'Found Out' features the vocals of Berlin's Richard Davis - and the six track EP includes the original title track - as well as two remixes from Deetron, two from Tiefschwarz, and a 'Club Re-rub'. It's released on the Noir Music label and it's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/found-out/890427
'Found Out' is a full on vocal track, but it's actually 'Deetron's Sunshower Dub' remix that is most to my liking - he removes the words but keeps just enough trippy vocal effects. This brings the music right upfront - the acoustic intro sets an air of mystery that steadily builds up to a journey through a higher state of consciousness... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Bryan Chapman!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Bryan Chapman - 'Amplified Koma'/ ''Barren Prison'/ 'Box Of Voices'
England's Bryan Chapman has just released a new EP brilliantly titled 'The Irrelevance Of Tomorrow' this week! The EP features three original tracks, is released on the 8 Sided Dice label, and is currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/the-irrelevance-of-tomorrow-ep/888018
Chapman appears to be a bit of a noob - even his bio says that he 'burst onto the scene in late 2011' - but he sounds like an experienced master at the top of his game! His first release was under the name Echo Vacio, which was a collaboration with Gary Byfield. They released a two track EP called 'Hecke & Jyde' on the Respekt Recordings label in January 2010. Then last October he released a two track EP with Jon Gurd called 'Senses' on the Primal Rhythm label.
Thus this appears to be Chapman's first official solo release - and all I can say is WOW. If you dig music that you can get lost in - that will take you somewhere else (and I reckon that if you follow SummersRadio™ then you clearly do) then 'The Irrelevance Of Tomorrow' is an essential purchase! I just bought a copy :) I normally wouldn't post every track on an EP, however in this case I must make a rare exception - but I will feature them in a different order. If you start listening to these three tunes at 4:20pm - by 4:40 (or any other time) you will have experienced quite a journey.
Let's begin with track two - it's a driving hypnotic tune with dark vocal samples that sound a bit like like 'The Hound Of The Baskervilles' on acid - not that I'd know. It's otherworldly... Enjoy!
'Barren Prison' is the third track on the EP and an excellent techno/ house hybrid. I like how the tune morphs - from an old school techno start, that then lifts you up into the spacey massive house drop around 1:33. If songs were a ride at an amusement park this one would definitely be an E ticket... Enjoy!
And finally, track one on 'The Irrelevance Of Tomorrow' EP - 'Box Of Voices' - which is just as powerful and mind altering as 'Amplified Koma' and 'Barren Prison'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Secret Cinema & Kalden Bess!
SummersRadio™ New Remix! Secret Cinema & Kalden Bess aka m0h - 'Bam Bam' (Sasha Carassi Remix)
Secret Cinema & Kalden Bess aka m0h have just released the 'POW! EP Remixed' this week! The remix EP is of course the follow up to the original 'POW!' EP which was released last October. Both EP's feature the songs 'Bam Bam' and 'Pow Pow' and both are released on Montreal's Ground Factory Records. On the original release it was the b-side track 'Pow Pow' that was most to my liking - which you can check out/ revisit here: http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2011/10/summersradio-new-music-secret-cinema.html
However, this time around it's 'Bam Bam' that has won me over - remixed by Napoli Italy's Sasha Carassi. Carassi trades the semi-tribal looseness of the original in for a sleeker - perhaps more luxurious - elevated journey through space. I really like the mix of the sustained keyboards and the discofied bassline... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! BMG & Derek Plaslaiko!
SummersRadio™ New Music! BMG & Derek Plaslaiko - 'Is Your Mother Home?' (Original Mix)
BMG & Derek Plaslaiko have just released an amazing (and highlarious) new EP called 'Is Your Mother Home?' this week! The first thing that drew me to this release was the cover art - I like the old school van and how it's not quite all there - like it's travelling through time and space:
Then the cheeky tracklisting gave me a laugh:
1. 'Daydreaming About Your Mom' (Original Mix)
2. 'Is Your Mother Home?' (Original Mix)
3. 'When Is She Coming Back?' (BMG Dub)
4. 'Are You Sure?' (Derek Plaslaiko Dub)
5. 'Is Your Mother Done?' (Original Mix)
Then I saw that it's released on a label called Interdimensional Transmissions - and I knew that I was quite possibly onto something wondrous even before I'd given the EP a listen. And then... I did. And now that I've done so I hereby declare the title track to be a SummersRadio™ Stonerhouse™ instant classic!
Brendan M Gillen aka BMG is a founding member of the Detroit band Ectomorph. He also started the Interdimensional Transmissions label and he 'enjoys playing Ableton like a video game and making analog equipment growl like an acid motorcycle.' Derek Plaslaiko also hails from Detroit (he's now based in Berlin) and is 'an indie rocker inspired by techno'.
'Is Your Mother Home?' features majorly trippy keyboard sounds and an amusing vocal dialogue that tells (one side of) the story of a gentleman on the make who offers someone at a bus stop a ride - but not before shopping for some munchies first. The interest is mutual - he's not the first one to say 'you're cute' so it's quite amusing as opposed to being creepy! I reckon that listening to this song would be akin to a visit to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory - on acid - if Will lived in an afterhours club - in Detroit!
The 'Is Your Mother Home?' EP is available on both itunes and Beatport - it's a mere $3.99 on itunes for all five tracks. Christian Smith has just released his new EP called 'NYC' today! Well it appears that consuming the recommended 8 cups of gravy per day (among other things) left me feeling a bit logy over the weekend, so I didn't post for a couple days - but I'm ready to get back on track now! So we move from one Christian to another - we started off the Easter weekend on Friday with Christian Burkhardt's latest - and today we have São Paulo based Christian Smith :)

This is one of the band's early singles - it was released in 1997 as the first single from their second album 'The Dandy Warhols Come Down' - back when their vacations were perhaps a titch happier - heck they didn't even need a vacation to have a good time! I love how the squelchy acid keyboard sounds meld with the guitars on this one - this is 'Everyday Should Be A Holiday'... Enjoy!

The Dandy Warhols have just released their new single called 'Sad Vacation' online! 'Sad Vacation' is the second single (the follow up to 'Well They're Gone') from the Portland band's forthcoming new album called 'This Machine' which is set for release on April 24th on The End label.

SummersRadio™ New Music! Photek & Pinch - 'M25FM'
Photek has just released the latest DJ-Kicks mix compilation! The 39th volume in the series (#40 will be from Maya Jane Coles and released later in April) features 18 tracks - including four Photek originals and two collaborations - and is out now everywhere except North America (it's released here on Tuesday) on the !K7 Records label.
Like all DJ-Kicks mixes Photek's is a diverse journey. This is the seventh track on the compilation - created with Bristol dj/ producer Pinch - 'M25FM' is a nice chilled acid techno tune... Enjoy!
