SummersRadio™ New Remix! Two Door Cinema Club - 'Next Year' (RAC Remix)
RAC have just released a new remix of Two Door Cinema Club's latest single 'Next Year'! 'Next Year' is the third single released from the Northern Ireland band's second album 'Beacon', which was came out last summer on the Kitsune Label.
The Remix Artist Collective posted this online on Soundcloud - then it was taken down - and now it can be found on Two Door Cinema Club's Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/two-door-cinema-club/two-door-cinema-club-next-year-rac

SummersRadio™ New Video! Miss Kittin!
SummersRadio™ New Video! Miss Kittin - 'Bassline' (Official Video)
Miss Kittin has just released a new video for her recently featured new single 'Bassline'! http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2013/02/summersradio-new-music-miss-kittin.html 'Bassline' is the second single released from her forthcoming double album 'Calling From The Stars' which is out April 22nd.
The film/ video is directed by Andrew Woodhead and it features plenty of neon lights, lots of legs, dancers - and of course the charming Miss Kittin. It's also a bit comical - I don't think we're supposed to take the black and blue lips (sometimes with teeth!) too seriously.
Regardless it's a very chic video about a shy boy that fits the song perfectly... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Yeah Yeah Yeahs!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Yeah Yeah Yeahs - 'Sacrilege'
Yeah Yeah Yeahs have just posted their new official single 'Sacrilege' online today! Last month we featured the first teaser video from their forthcoming new album called 'Mosquito' - which is released April 16th - and today we have the full audio for the first proper single which debuted on BBC Radio 1 earlier today. If you pre-order 'Mosquito' on iTunes you're able to download 'Sacrilege' now.
'Sacrilege' is neither a pro or anti-religious song - although it does feature a gospel choir - I suspect that Karen O is referring to sex or a particular love affair. It's seems a bit of an odd choice for a lead single but at the same time it is strangely memorable... Enjoy!

Some of the finest techno in the world is currently coming out of Italy - and it's not the first time that I've made such a statement. We follow our 1,000th post with Aaron Mills with the latest EP from Cagliari, Italy's Mr. Bizz! The duo consists of brothers Fabrizio and Matteo Floris and their new EP is called 'Reversion'.
The 'Reversion' EP features six tracks - three songs including the title track, 'Suspence' and 'Memory Loss' - plus a dj tool track for each song. It's released on the SCI-TECH Digital Audio label and it's currently available exclusively on Beatport:

SummersRadio™ New Music! Computer Magic!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Computer Magic - 'Another Science'
Brooklyn's wonderful Computer Magic has just released a new EP called
'A Million Years/ Another Science'! The four track EP includes the title track plus a remix by Chrome Canyon, as well as the previously featured song 'Everest' http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2012/06/summersradio-new-music-computer-magic.html and this track called 'Another Science'.
'Another Science' sounds like it could be influenced by some of my favourite synth pop artists over the years including Giorgio Moroder, Gary Numan, Dot Allison and The Human League to name a few - and yet I reckon she sounds as fresh as a spring morning. The EP is self-released and available on iTunes now!
This new song and EP also reaffirm Computer Magic as one of my favourite bands to emerge in the last of couple years. 'Another Science' features great layered synths and lush production - and the beautiful vocals of singer Danz are the icing on the cake... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Foals - 'My Number' (Hot Chip Remix)
Hot Chip have just released a new remix of Foals latest single 'My Number' online! 'My Number' was released as the second single in December (a third has yet to be announced) from Foals third album 'Holy Fire'. It featured a remix from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs which only included vocal samples, whereas this Hot Chip remix keeps the full vocals intact.
I actually wasn't a big fan of the original song (although the 'TEED Remix' is good) but I feel the love on this remix as it's quite different from both previous versions - Hot Chip add synths aplenty. My only complaint is that it's a bit short - but thus far it's only been posted on Soundcloud - hopefully it will receive a proper (extended!) release soon.

Today is Yoko Ono's 80th birthday - Happy Birthday Yoko! As a big fan I wanted to pay tribute to her today. This year I thought we'd go with a couple classic originals. First up we have a song from her 1981 album 'Season Of Glass' - the first one she released following John Lennon's death in 1980. I think this song covers a lot of ground - beauty, happiness, sadness, grief and loss - it's a truly sincere love song... Enjoy!
I was quite pleased that Paul McCartney finally made peace with Ono this year by declaring that she wasn't responsible for the inevitable breakup of the Beatles. Her 1980 single 'Walking On Thin Ice' is one of her best known songs - and also the final recording that she made with John before his death.
I still remember when I first heard this song - I had never heard anything like it and I reckon I still haven't since. It has such a unique, almost eerie feel to it - and it's a remarkably great dance tune - it truly is one of my favourite songs of all time... Enjoy!

Greetings Humans. In case you wondered why there was no third annual 'Love Stinks! Valentine's Spectacular, an unkind valentine stole my laptop that day (oh the stinking irony) so I've been offline for a couple days. My apologies - and now the show must go on - back to the music I say!!
Belgium's Marco Bailey has just released an amazing new artist album called 'High Volume'! 'High Volume' features 13 original tracks and it's out now on his own MB Elektronic's label. It's currently available exclusively on Beatport m'here: http://www.beatport.com/release/high-volume/1030806
'High Volume' features an array of styles - some downtempo and chill out tunes - and thankfully plenty of mind melting techno masterpieces. I reckon this to be the finest electronic artist full length album since Gary Beck's stunner 'Bring A Friend' from last fall. (http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2012/09/summersradio-new-music-gary-beck.html)
I've chosen two of many standouts - the succession of the animal-named tracks is incredible! First up we have the fourth track from 'High Volume' called 'The Fox'... Enjoy!

'The Falcon' starts out strong and it just keeps growing - the breakdown that begins around 3:30 in is magnificent... Enjoy!
