Mason featuring Roisin Murphy - 'Boadicea' (Mason's Battle Scarred Mix) So I wanted one of today's posts to be from someone Irish - and also be something that was new - and of course quality - and I found exactly what I was looking for! While Mason are a Dutch duo this track features the vocals of Roisin Murphy - the Irish singer who was formerly one half of Moloko - who has also released two solo albums and collaborated with a number of other artists including Crookers, David Byrne & Fatboy Slim, Boris Dlugosh and Tony Christie.
'Boadicea' has just been released on Mason's own Animal Language label - which they started in 2008 - with a whopping 9 remixes! I like this one by Mason themselves - it starts off innocently enough - and before you know it, it transforms into a chunky Giorgio Moroder style disco number... Enjoy!
