Brooklyn's Flying Horse has just released a new remix of Mr. Oizo's cheeky 'Douche Beat' online! 'Douche Beat' was first released on Mr. Oizo's last album 'Stade 2' which was released in late 2011 on Ed Banger Records.

SummersRadio™ New Remixes! Boys Noize - 'XTC' (Chemical Brothers Remix) (Extended Preview)/ Boys Noize - 'Ich R U' (Justice Remix)
Boys Noize are releasing a new remix EP to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Ed Banger Records featuring remixes from The Chemical Brothers and Justice! The remix EP will feature The Chemical Brothers taking on Boys Noize's track 'XTC' and Justice remix 'Ich R U'. The EP is also the label's 100th release and it's out on March 18th.
Ed Banger Records was founded in 2003 by Pedro Winter aka Busy P. They're based in Paris and their home to artists such as Justice, Cassius, Mr. Oizo, Uffie and Breakbot among others.
The Chemical Brothers posted a short snippet (less than a minute long) of their 'XTC' remix on their Facebook page last week as a preview which was just too short to be postworthy - but I've found an 'Extended Preview' recorded off of Annie Mac's Radio 1 show posted earlier today that's nearly four minutes long! Naturally I will post the full proper version as soon as it's available - until then... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Laurent Garnier featuring The L.B.S. Crew - 'Our Futur' (Detroit Mix)
France's techno legend Laurent Garnier is releasing a new EP called 'Timeless' on April 1st! 'Timeless' is a three track EP featuring 'Jacques In The Box' and two remixes of 'Our Futur' - the 'Loud Disco Mix' and the 'Detroit Mix' - and it's out on the Ed Banger Records label.

The feel of this song fits in well with the EP's name - as it certainly has a timeless quality to it. On one hand it seems a bit familiar - with it's Giorgio Moroder and early Detroit techno influences - musically speaking it sounds like it could be from some classic sci-fi film soundtrack. But it also sounds current - with the robotic vocal bits featuring positive lyrics about our future. It clocks in at over nine minutes long and suggests to me that the future could very well be quite the epic journey... :) Enjoy!

Mr. Oizo - 'Edn' (Vinibanger Remix) Well I must say that itunes is certainly getting their paws on some quality dance music releases lately <cough> In this week's new releases for example we have a new compilation called 'Acid House' - which features big name artists like Boyz4noize - and includes a 'Hard Trance Mix'! They also have a new song from Tfb called 'My Dick Has Bass' and Sissy Penis Factory's 'Everybody F**K Now' from 1991! If you haven't heard it, you can probably guess that it's a 20 year old explicit take on C&C Music Factory's 'Everybody Dance Now' - with clever lyrics like 'Let my pussy take control, let my juices move you'. I don't know where they're getting these top quality exclusive new releases from, but all I can say is buyer beware!
France's Mr. Oizo released his latest album called 'Stade 2' earlier this month - his second released on the Ed Banger label, and his fourth full length overall. The album features a one minute and four second track called 'Ebn' - short for... 'everybody dance now'! It's not a cover per se - although it uses those three memorable words, it's totally different musically speaking. As it's so short it's more of a musical interlude than a song, but Vinicius Miguel aka Vinibanger - a producer from Brazil - has remixed and extended the track, turning into a proper tune. SummersRadio™ New Music! Justice - 'Audio Video Disco' The new single from the French duo Justice has just been leaked online this weekend! 'Audio Video Disco' is the title track from their forthcoming second album which is due for release on October 25th on Ed Banger Records - and it will be released as the second official single on September 19th.
I do like Justice but at the same time I've always found them to be greatly overrated - and this new song does nothing to change that. It sounds a bit like a previously unreleased Buggles b-side track from 1979! But then, perhaps that was the sound they were going for - this is 'Audio Video Disco'... Enjoy!
Bonus Track! Just for kicks here's the b-side to The Buggles massive 1979 hit 'Video Killed The Radio Star' - called 'Kid Dynamo' - which I think I may just like a titch more than 'Audio Video Disco' :) Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ Music News + Classic Mashup! DJ Schmolli - 'Justice For Billie Jean' Today's big music news comes from Parisian duo Justice's Facebook page! They announced today that they're releasing their new single on April 4th! The song is called 'Civilization' from their as yet untitled forthcoming second album. Any audio posts of the song to Youtube and Soundcloud today have been quickly deleted on behalf of their label Because Music/ Ed Banger Records. Naturally I will post the song when it's possible to do so - but in the meantime here's a classic mashup by Austrian DJ Schmolli - of Michael Jackson's 'Bille Jean' and Justice's 'D.A.N.C.E' - with a dash of C&C Music Factory.
