SummersRadio™ Classic! Slowdive - 'Alison' All this talk of shoegaze the last couple days got me thinking of one of my most favorite songs of the genre - and Christian Strobe mentioned Slowdive as well - so I simply must post it! 'Alison' is the first track on Slowdive's 'Outside Your Room' EP and their third album 'Souvlaki' - both released in 1993 on Creation Records.
In addition to the amazing production on this track, I also love the lyrics:

I guess she's out there somewhere
Most songs sound like they move up and down - but this one goes more sideways - in circles. To me this song sounds like how floating would feel - if humans could literally do so physically. I wish that there was an extended version of this song - like an hour long! ♥ This is 'Alison'... Enjoy!
