Dublin's Marcus Lambkin aka Shit Robot is releasing a new single on Monday! The 'Teenage Bass'/ 'Space Race' EP is released on DFA Records and will be available as a download and also on a limited 'hand finished' 12" vinyl single from DFA's webstore here: http://shop.dfarecords.com/

                      

'Teenage Bass'/ 'Space Race' is the first release in a new series of 12"'s from DFA called 'The Green Machine' although there's no further information available on exactly what that entails just yet. This is also his first single since the release of his 2010 debut album 'From The Cradle To The Rave'.

This is the b-side track - a largely instrumental and aptly named synth tune. (click to listen below) Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Video + New Remix! Shit Robot - 'Losing My Patience' While James Murphy may have put an end to LCD Soundsystem (posted below) he still has his label DFA Records - which Shit Robot are signed to. Marcus Lambkin aka Shit Robot released his debut album called 'From The Cradle To The Rave' last September - and 'Losing My Patience' is the third and latest single from the album, following 'I Got A Feeling' and 'Take Me Up' - which featured LCD Soundsystem's Nancy Whang on vocals. 'Losing My Patience' features vocals from Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip! First up we have the new video... Enjoy!



And since the song features Alexis Taylor on vocals, I suppose it wasn't too difficult to get Hot Chip to do a remix of the song as well... Enjoy!

He released his cleverly titled debut album 'From The Cradle To The Rave' in September on DFA Records. Vocals on this track are performed by Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem - and it features lyrics co-written with her and James Murphy! I wish Nancy sang more on LCD albums - but for now this is one great tune - a bit like the Human League at their best meets LCD... Enjoy!
