Hot Since 82 have just released a new remix of Friendly Fires new single online today! The Leeds dj/ producer just posted this remix of Friendly Fires new cover of 'Why Don't You Answer' from the latest 'Late Night Tales' compilation on Soundcloud this morning.
This is 30th installment of the series and it's compiled by Friendly Fires. The 'Late Night Tales' series has always embraced diversity and this edition is no exception as it features twenty tracks from artists such as Junior Boys, Stereolab, SBTRK, Slowdive - and Olivia Newton-John!

For their own exclusive track (a staple of the 'Late Night' series) Friendly Fires chose an excellent song to cover - 'Why Don't You Answer' - a song recorded by Germany's Eberhard Schoener featuring the vocals of Sting, which first appeared on his 1978 album 'Flashback'.
The compilation is out now and this new remix by Hot Since 82 will be released on November 19th... Enjoy!
Bonus Track! The Friendly Fires cover of 'Why Don't You Answer' made me want to check out (revisit?) the original - which was familiar to my subconscious although I'm unsure of just when and where I heard it. This led to this remix of the original by Lukas T. Velvet - which appears on the digital reissue of 'Flashback' that came out last year.
This remix makes the original a bit punchier - more techno if you will... Enjoy!
