Giorgio Moroder has just released a new single today called '74 Is The New 24'! The song is the first single from Moroder's forthcoming as yet untitled new album - his first in three decades - which is due in the spring. The single is available as of today iTunes.
With '74 Is The New 24' the disco/ dance music legend proves that he's still got it at age 74. I'm looking forward to hearing some remixes of this one... Enjoy!

Malcolm Middleton & visual artist David Shrigley have just released a new song online called 'Story Time'! 'Story Time' tells the dark tale of a rabbit and a squirrel who just don't hit it off well. The song is one of twelve tracks on the new 'Music And Words' album featuring music by Middleton and words by the always cheeky Shrigley.

SummersRadio™ Startlefest 2014 Classic! The Cult - 'The Witch'
Welcome to Startlefest 2014! 'The Witch' is a song from The Cult which was first released in 1992 as part of the live action/ animated film soundtrack 'Cool World'.
'Cool World' starred Brad Pitt and Kim Basinger and the soundtrack also featured Electronic, Moby, Ministry, Thompson Twins and David Bowie - but alas the soundtrack has been out of print for many years.
The original version of 'The Witch' was a wicked seven minutes long but that version has yet to make it to the world wide web - how evil! This version is from the 'Pure Cult' collection originally called 'Pure Cult: For Rockers, Ravers, Lovers and Sinners'. The production is still amazing on this track - it sounds rather like a cross between the Jesus & Mary Chain and Queen... Enjoy!
