'Hurt In The Morning' is the second single from the new album and it's a catchy indie rock/ electronic hybrid. It appears to be about a dude that get's laid a lot that won't commit - and as a bonus it has an acid techno feel further in.

When I heard the first single 'Do It Again' I found it to be a bit too Top 40/ radio friendly sounding for my liking - but then the very next track on the EP - 'Sayit' - goes in the other direction - as it was clearly made for the clubs and underground techno lovers.

SummersRadio™ The Fat White Family - 'Touch The Leather' (Redux) (Official Video)
It's time for some sleaze - a sleazy Saturday if you will. The latest EP from The Fat White Family is strangely not available in North America yet for some reason - but they're certainly a band to keep an eye on.
The south London six piece band released their debut album called 'Champagne Holocaust' in April 2013, and then it was re-released this March on Trashmouth Records. Their latest EP 'Touch The Leather' features three tracks - the title song, the 'Redux' as featured in this video, and a third tune called 'Yellow Woman'. It's available on iTunes in the U.K.
The 'Touch The Leather' (Redux) video features some nudity (gasp!) - the trashy vibe suits the song which sounds a bit like early Lou Reed/ Velvet Underground meets Love & Rockets... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ Classic! Nash The Slash - 'Psychotic Reaction'
Jeff Plewman - better known as Nash The Slash - has passed away at age 66. The Toronto musician is best known for playing the electric violin and for performing covered in surgical bandages from 1979 until his retirement in 2012. He was also a founding member of the band FM. This is the cover art from his 1984 album 'American Bandages':
'American Bandages' (available on iTunes) is a collection of 60's and 70's tracks reimagined - including 'Psychotic Reaction' which features Nash mixing in spoken word parts from the viewpoint of John Hinckley who was obsessed with Jodie Foster and tried to kill present Ronald Reagan.
Nash The Slash was a unique talent and captivating artist who shall live on through his music. This is 'Psychotic Reaction' - like all of his music, the production here is impeccable even three decades on... Enjoy!

'Edit Service 35' is a remix of Pink Floyd's 'Obscured By Clouds' by the French duo Monoblok & PSLKTR.
'Obscured By Clouds' is the title track from Pink Floyd's seventh studio album - which was based on the soundtrack to the film 'La Vallee' and released in 1972.
