While I generally wouldn't post about a dj set for an artist who also performs live - Peaches is pretty cool - and it gives me a perfect reason to feature one of my favorite remixes of recent years! 'I Feel Cream' is the title track - and was the third single released from - Peaches most recent album which came out in 2009. Peaches' vocals on 'I Feel Cream' are wonderfully sweet and sexy - and the production on this 'Proxy Remix' is nothing short of amazing - an electro 'I Feel Love' for the new millenium... Enjoy!
Earlier this year Peaches provided vocals on a track on R.E.M.'s latest album. She sings on 'Alligator_Aviator_Autopilot_Antimatter' - which is the ninth track on R.E.M. 's 15th (!) studio album called 'Collapse Into Now' which was released in March of this year. It's a fine upbeat track - in contrast to most of the sleepy offerings featured on some of R.E.M.'s previous more recent releases. Although it wasn't released as a single, R.E.M. decided to do a few things a bit differently this time around - including making videos for all 12 songs on the album. Peaches is featured in the video as well - this is 'Alligator_Aviator_Autopilot_Antimatter' - Enjoy!
