SummersRadio™ New Music! Amazon Blu - 'Overdrive'/ 'Painfully Shy'
Amazon Blu have released a new two track demo online! Amazon Blu are 'an all girl 3 piece indie pop band' from Norwich, England. Tallis Robb provides lead vocals and plays guitar, Evie Wiseman takes care of the bass and backing vocals, and Liv Nichol is the drummer. Their latest demo posted to Soundcloud features two tracks - 'Painfully Shy' and 'Overdrive'.
It's worth noting that these girls are all aged fourteen to fifteen - but this is no manufactured pop drivel. These girls write their own songs and they can rock! They remind me of other indie pop greats like The Primtives, Elastica and Cub.

Seattle's Say Hi are releasing a new album called 'Endless Wonder'! 'Endless Wonder' will be Eric Elbogen aka Say Hi's eighth album and it's released on Barsuk Records on June 17th. This is the cover art:
'Hurt In The Morning' is the second single from the new album and it's a catchy indie rock/ electronic hybrid. It appears to be about a dude that get's laid a lot that won't commit - and as a bonus it has an acid techno feel further in.

Ummagma have just released a new EP called 'Lama'! The Ukranian/ Canadian duo consists of Alexx Kretov from Kremenets, Ukraine and Shauna McLarnon from Whitehorse. The 'Lama' EP features eight tracks - the original plus seven remixes. The EP is released by Emerald & Doreen Recordings and it's available now on iTunes.
Track five is a remix from the Italian duo Irregular Disco Workers called 'Irregular Disco Workers Acid Feel' - who turn the dreamy pop original into a full on acid techno affair... Enjoy!

When I heard the first single 'Do It Again' I found it to be a bit too Top 40/ radio friendly sounding for my liking - but then the very next track on the EP - 'Sayit' - goes in the other direction - as it was clearly made for the clubs and underground techno lovers.
