Dunproofin has just released a new remix of Tears For Fears classic 'Head Over Heels' online! Andy Dunproofin aka Dunproofin is a dj/ producer from Aberdeen who's posted two variations of the song online. 'Head Over Heels' was the third/ fourth (depending on where you lived) single from Tears For Fears second album 'Songs From The Big Chair' in 1985.
Dunproofin has posted two slightly different versions of the song - one with beats (the massive drum sound from one of the bands other hits 'Shout') - and one without the drums. I think I prefer the beatless version but both are good so I shall post both! If either or both versions are to your liking they're available as a free download - simply click on the download arrow(s)... Enjoy!

Danish producer Sivesgaard has released a new rework of Tears For Fears 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' online! 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' was first released in 1985 as the first single (in North America) from the band's massive 'Songs From The Big Chair' album.
This rework by Sivesgaard adds a bit of acid into the mix - and I like the build around one minute in. SummersRadio™ New Music! Junkie XL Featuring Curt Smith - 'When Is Enough Not Enough'
Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL has just released his new studio album called 'Synthesized' this week! 'Synthesized' is the Dutch musician's sixth album - it includes twelve tracks and it's released on Vancouver's Nettwerk label. The album (available now on itunes) features a number guest collaborators including Datarock, Tommie Sunshine, Isis Salam, and Curt Smith from Tears For Fears.
As one half of Tears For Fears Curt is known as the vocalists on some of their biggest singles including 'Mad World', 'Pale Shelter' and 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World'. 'When Is Enough Is Not Enough' is the fifth track on 'Synthesized' and I reckon it would be a fine choice as the next single - with remixes of course... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Ramon Tapia - 'The Cry' (Original Mix)/ (Secret Cinema Remix)
Belgium's Ramon Tapia has just released a new EP today called 'The Cry'! There's certainly been no shortage of early 80's revivials recently - just in the past two weeks we've had Comon's cover of Trio's 'Da Da Da' (82), Mr. Bizz's remix of Yello's 'Oh Yeah' (85) - and 'The Cry' samples the haunting xylophone hook from Tears For Fears 1983 single 'Change' from their classic debut album 'The Hurting'.
'The Cry' EP features three versions of the track - the 'Original Mix', the 'Deep Mix', and the 'Secret Cinema Remix'. It's released on the Say What? Recordings label and it's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/the-cry-ep/921791
All three versions of 'The Cry' are quite different but equally strong in their own right. I shall feature two of them - first up we have the 'Original Mix'... Enjoy!
