SummersRadio™ New Cover! Red Axes - 'Bela Lugosi's Dead'
Tel Aviv duo Red Axes have covered Bauhaus's 1979 classic 'Bela Lugosi's Dead'! 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' is track nine on Red Axes new album 'Ballad Of The Ice' which is released on the I'm A Cliché label and it's available now on iTunes.
Red Axes cover is more electronic than the original - while it maintains some of the atmosphere of the nine minute epic, it's also different enough to be interesting in it's own right... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Guy Mantzur & Guy J - 'All In' (Original Mix)
Tel Aviv's Guy Mantzur has just released his debut artist album called 'Moments'! 'Moments' features fifteen tracks (14 songs plus a continuous mix) and it's released on the Sudbeat Music label. It's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/release/moments/1193937
'All In' is the sixth track on 'Moments' and it's a collaboration with fellow Tel Aviv dj/ producer Guy J (who we also mentioned in yesterday's post)... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Guy J & Sahar Z - '7.11' (Original Mix)
John Digweed has just released a massive new 4 cd set called 'Live In London'! The package features over 50 songs across four cd's, six pieces of vinyl, and as a 59 track download. The cd and vinyl sets are available from Bedrock's website here: http://www.bedrock.org.uk/ and the download is available at both itunes and Beatport.
There's clearly plenty of great tunes to choose from but since Guy J released one of my favourite songs of 2011 (http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2011/12/summersradio-new-music-guy-j.html) naturally I was drawn to his new track with Sahar Z first. The two Tel Aviv artists/ producers deliver quite a journey on '7.11' - the song features so many amazing sounds - my highest expectations were perhaps even exceeded... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Guy J - 'Soul In Arp'/ 'Solar Flare' Guy Judah aka Guy J is a dj/ producer from Tel Aviv Israel who's just released an excellent new EP called 'Soul In Arp'! 'Soul In Arp' contains the original mixes of two tracks - the title song and 'Solar Flare' - and is out now on Funk D'Void's Outpost Recordings label. http://www.beatport.com/#release/soul-in-arp/840634
This is the title track on the EP - the wonderfully spacey 'Soul In Arp'... Enjoy!
This is the b-side song 'Solar Flare' - and if you're a fan of not only spacey techno but also space itself - be sure to keep your eye on the moon tomorrow night for the full lunar eclipse! Enjoy...
