I reckon that humans often forget that they are floating in space. This is a good song to listen to whilst pondering such things. 'Potency' is another standout track from Max Cooper's debut artist album 'Human' which was released in March on Fields Records. 'Human's is available on iTunes as well as on cd and vinyl here: https://www.musicglue.com/fields-recordings/
Cooper describes his creative process on this track on Soundcloud:"This was a fun track to make. I wanted to try and make something purely noisy and intense, but always delivering a feeling that 100 times more power was still fighting to get out, like the potency of human nature."
SummersRadio™ New Video! Max Cooper - 'Seething' (Official Video)
Max Cooper has released a new video online for his song 'Seething'! 'Seething' is from his debut studio album called 'Human' which was released in March on Fields Records and it's available on iTunes.
In addition to being a musician, the London artist/ producer also has a Ph.D. in computational biology. The 'Seething' video was created by Andy Lomas who is a CGI specialist that has worked on both 'Avatar' and 'The Matrix' - and he's a mathematician.
The video features cellular forms "which uses digital simulation of a simplified biological model of morphogenesis, with three-dimensional structures generated out of interconnected particles to represent cells." You can learn more about Andy Lomas' work here: http://www.andylomas.com/
'Seething' is quite a magnificent creation - from both a musical and visual perspective... Enjoy!

The EP is released on the German label Traum and it's available on both iTunes and Beatport. (Fyi it's way cheaper on iTunes - $3.99 vs $13.93!)

SummersRadio™ New Music/ Video! Max Cooper Featuring BRAIDS - 'Pleasures' (Original Mix)
London's Max Cooper has just released a new EP with Montreal's BRAIDS called 'Conditions One'! This is the first of two themed EP's that will examine the human condition - that might sound a bit lofty at first but interestingly Cooper has a PHD and was a genetics researcher prior to launching his music career. This is the first EP released on the new label called Fields and it's available on both itunes and Beatport (half the price on itunes).
The 'Conditions One' EP features four tracks - the original mixes of 'Pleasures' and 'Automation' - plus one remix of each track from Ghosting Season and D/R/U/G/S respectively. All four tracks feature vocals from BRAIDS who released their second album called 'Native Speaker' last year: http://braidsmusic.com/
'Pleasures' has a nice dreamilke quality to it - and it features a beautiful video hand-painted by Cédric De Smedt. Please note that this video edit is 4:12 - the full 'Original Mix' is 7:45... Enjoy!
