Both the digital and deluxe vinyl versions come with two remixes of their latest single 'Wonderlust' - one by Factory Floor and this atmospheric remix from Sweden's The Field.

SummersRadio™ New Video! Franz Ferdinand - 'Bullet'
Franz Ferdinand have just released a new video online for their latest single 'Bullet'! 'Bullet' is the fourth single and video from their fourth album 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action' which was released in August by Domino Records.
'Bullet' is an energetic number about trying to get someone out of your head... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Franz Ferdinand - 'Love Illumination'/ 'Right Action'
Franz Ferdinand have just released two new songs online! Both 'Love Illumination' and 'Right Action' are from the band's upcoming new studio album (their fourth) called 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action' which is released on August 26th (U.K.)/ 27th (North America) on Domino Records.
'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action' will be available as a single cd or single LP - and as a hand numbered double cd or double vinyl package that features a thirteen track live album called 'Right Notes, Right Words, Wrong Order'.
'Right Words' (the single) is available for download now on iTunes - and 'Love Illumination' is released on Tuesday (July 1st - Canada). First up is 'Love Illumination' - I like the old school keyboard/ organ in this one... Enjoy!
'Right Words' is the first track on the ten song release - and as an introduction to the album it suggests that they're staying true to their catchy well produced guitar sound... Enjoy!
Baltimore's Dan Deacon is an experimental artist that mixes electronica, indie rock, and contemporary classical music together to create his own unique sound. 'Crash Jam' looks set to be the second single (following 'True Thrush') off of his latest album 'America' - about his mixed feelings on being an American - which was released in late August on Domino Records.
Deacon is known for his live shows that usually find him performing on the floor with the audience who are invited to participate in the performance. He'll be coming to Vancouver on Friday October the 26th to play at the Biltmore Cabaret - tickets are available here: http://www.ticketweb.ca/
'Crash Jam' is a surreal tune with swirling keyboards, layered vocals and numerous energetic tempo changes which will undoubtedly work the crowd at his live shows into a pogoing frenzy... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Hot Chip - 'Don't Deny Your Heart'
Hot Chip release their new album called 'In Our Heads' tomorrow! 'In Our Heads' is the London band's fifth studio album - it features eleven tracks and is released on the Domino label. We featured the first track to surface from the album in March called 'Flutes' http://summersradio.blogspot.ca/2012/03/summersradio-new-music-hot-chip.html.
The first official single from the album is 'Night & Day' but this weekend a couple other new tracks have popped up online. 'Don't Deny Your Heart' is the fifth track on 'In Our Heads' - I like the coupling of the lines 'Don't deny your heart, don't destroy your heart' - of course the two aren't necessarily exclusive. The song has a nice summery vibe to it and I dig the opening vocal samples... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ New Music! Hot Chip - 'Flutes'/ 'I Feel Better'
London's Hot Chip have just released a new song online called 'Flutes'! It's not clear at this point if 'Flutes' will be the first official single or not - but it's definitely the first new song released online from their forthcoming new album (their fifth) called 'In Our Heads' which is set for release on June 11th on the Domino Records label.
Domino Records have just posted this new video online of the band in the studio - featuring lots of spinning camera shots. Now I'm pretty sure that cameras don't get dizzy - but this is yet another SummersRadio™ 4:20 post :) - so even if you're not indulging in any illegal non-medicinal activity, you may feel some slight dizziness with this post anyway!
'Flutes' sounds like another fine Hot Chip tune - with typically soulful vocals and some occasionally trippy danceable synthesized grooves... Enjoy!
Bonus Track! 'I Feel Better' was the second single released from Hot Chip's last album - 2010's 'One Life Stand'. Yes, I hate that they use autotune in this song - of course you get the full irony of it in this video - but they're still using it! However, in time I've been able to forgive them for doing so - especially with beautifully simplistic lyrics like 'When you hold me, I feel better' :)
This is the highlarious fake boy band destroying video for 'I Feel Better'... Enjoy!
