Atom TM have just released a new remix EP for the song 'Ich Bin Meine Maschine'! Atom™ is aka Senor Coconut (among other aliases) and his real name is Uwe Schmidt - he was born in Germany but he's now based in Santiago, Chile.
The 'Ich Bin Meine Maschine Remixed' EP features four tracks - the original plus three new remixes - the 'Boys Noize Remix', the 'Linear Remix' and the 'Function Remix'. It's released on the Raster-Noton label and it's available now on both iTunes and Beatport (it's half the price on iTunes!).
The 'Boys Noize Remix' of 'Ich Bin Meine Maschine' (translated it means 'I Am My Machine') is the sound of the future - where we're not taken over by robots - we are the robots... Enjoy!
Bonus Track! This cover of The Rolling Stones by Atom TM was included on one of two covers albums he released in 2008 - this one under the name LB from the 'Pop Artificielle' (Japanese Edition) album.
'Angie' sounds like it's made by robots for robots - but not an ounce of the angst from the original is lost - it's still heartbreaking. Robots may have feelings after all... Enjoy!
