SummersRadio™ New Music! Michael Mayer - 'Mantasy'
Germany's Michael Mayer has just released his new album called 'Mantasy' today! 'Mantasy' is Mayer's second solo album and it features eleven tracks including the first single 'Good Times' which features WhoMadeWho's vocalist Jeppe Kjellberg. It's released on the Kompakt label (he's also one of the label's co-owners) and it's available digitally - as well as on cd and vinyl here: http://www.kompakt.fm/releases
'Mantasy''s sounds are very diverse - Mayer says that the album "clearly reflects the gazillions of sounds I'm listening to in private, especially my love for soundtracks or soundtrack-like music". The album's title track is my initial favourite - it certainly has a cinematic feel to it - and a Giorgio Moroder disco influence, but a bit darker... Enjoy!
