It's our 1,111th post! Romania's Mihai Popoviciu has released a new song called 'Transitions'! 'Transitions' is one of thirteen new tracks on the 'Bla Bla Summer Sampler 3 Part 1'.
This is the third annual summer sampler for the Bla Bla label but the first time that it's in two parts - with part one focusing on techno releases while part two (with fifteen tracks) focuses on house and deep house. 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action' will be available as a single cd or single LP - and as a hand numbered double cd or double vinyl package that features a thirteen track live album called 'Right Notes, Right Words, Wrong Order'.

AM & Shawn Lee have released a brilliant cover of Joe Jackson's new wave classic 'Steppin' Out'! AM & Shawn Lee are a duo who spend their time between Los Angeles and London. They released their second album called 'La Musique Numerique' last month on the Park The Van Label (available on iTunes).
'Steppin' Out' was originally released by Joe Jackson in 1982 as a single from his album 'Night And Day'. AM & Shawn Lee's cover is quite faithful to the charming original but with more contemporary keyboard sounds and a slightly more laid back feel - and if it's to your liking you can download a copy for free by clicking on the arrow below...
