Tracey Thorn has released a new single online - a cover of Kate Bush's 'Under The Ivy'! 'Under The Ivy' was first released as the b-side to Bush's hit 'Running Up That Hill' in 1985. 'Under The Ivy' was inspired by Kate Bush's grand return to the stage in London this year. The original song has a special place in my heart - rare is it that a cover can do such a beautiful song justice but Tracey Thorn's version is also quite lovely... Enjoy!

The 12" single will feature the title track plus two additional remixes of the song 'Swimming' - from her 'Love And It's Opposite' album released last year on her husband Ben Watt's Buzzin Fly label. There's a new 'Ewan Pearson Re-Edit' of the 'Visionquest Remix' - first released on the 'Opposites EP' - and a new remix from Charles Webster. The download will feature a fourth track - the 'Charles Webster Dub'.

Deep Dish featuring Everything But The Girl - 'The Future Of The Future (Stay Gold)' This song began it's life as an instrumental Deep Dish single in 1996 called 'Stay Gold' - two years later the vocals of Tracey Thorn were added and it was renamed 'The Future Of The Future (Stay Gold)' and again released as a single - the song was also featured on Everything But The Girl's last album of new material 'Temperamental' in 1999. This is the club classic 'The Future Of The Future (Stay Gold)'... Enjoy!
