There will be no post today due to the world ending. Sorry for any inconvenience.
p.s. if for some reason the world does not end I will post something after midnight ♥
SummersRadio™ Rare Remix! Men Without Hats - 'Pop Goes The World' (Extended Dance Mix) 'Pop Goes The World' was the title track from the band's third album which was released in 1987. It reached the top 20 in the U.S., # 2 here in Canada - and it hit number one in Austria and Sweden!
The show tonight was great - when they performed 'The Safety Dance' they actually did the 12 inch version posted below and afterwards singer Ivan Doroschuk signed my 12 inch and my 'Pop Goes The World' cd! This is the 'Extended Dance Mix' from the original 12 inch single - the tempo is way slower on the remixes - so it's a bit trippy... Enjoy!
SummersRadio™ Classic Remix! Men Without Hats - 'The Safety Dance' (Extended Club Mix) Montreal's Men Without Hats have embarked on their first tour in two decades - and they're performing at Venue here in Vancouver tonight! They announced their 'Dance If You Want Tour' shortly after their successful appearance at this year's South By Southwest Music Festival in March.
'The Safety Dance' was released in North America in 1982 and a year and a half later in the U.K. - it was a top 10 hit in both the U.S. & the U.K. - as well as in over 25 other countries! This is the original 'Extended Club Mix' from the North American 12" single (a different remix was released in the U.K.). The video was shot in the village of West Kington, which is near Bath in southwest England. Few video's are as fun as this one - and a fan has re-edited the original clip to fit this extended version... Enjoy!
