SummersRadio™ New Remix! The Morning Benders!
SummersRadio™ New Remix! The Morning Benders - 'Excuses' (The Golden Filter Remix) The Morning Benders are an indie rock band from Berkley that are now based in New York. They released their second album entitled 'Big Echo' in March. This song has gained exposure through use in two tv commercials - for Sony '3d' tv's and Reese's peanut butter cups!
The Golden Filter are also from New York and they cite Saint Etienne and Pink Floyd as influences on their sound - clearly I need to hear more of their stuff! I really like this remix - they take the shuffling do-wop of the original and gradually transform it into a gloriously spacey number that weaves in and out of New Order territory... Enjoy!
