London's Daniel Avery is releasing a new remix EP next week! The double AA side 12" will features remixes of two tracks from his album 'Drone Logic' which was released last October on Phantasy Sound.
The 'Knowing We'll Be Here' EP will feature the 'KiNK Remix' of the title track, and this remix of 'New Energy' by Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve. Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve is a duo consisting of Erol Alkan and Richard Norris from The Grid.

Tame Impala have just released a new remix of their song 'Be Above It' online! The new remix is by Erol Alkan and it's just been posted on Soundcloud by their label Modular Recordings. The 'Erol Alkan Rework' will be released on one sided 12" vinyl limited to 1500 copies worldwide, and it will also be released digitally on Dec. 10th (U.K.)/ 11th (North America).
Erol Alkan transforms the psychedelic original into an awesome acid techno behemoth... Enjoy!

Please note that this is an 'Edit' of the song - now we're not fans of snippets here at SummersRadio™, but at nearly five minutes long it's a respectable length for a preview considering it's release is quite a ways off. SummersRadio™ New Music! Tom Rowlands - 'Through Me'/ 'Nothing But Pleasure'
The Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands has released a new solo EP called 'Through Me'/ 'Nothing But Pleasure'! The duo are not parting ways - this single is apparently a 'one-off' release on the Phantasy Sound label - a London collective that includes Erol Alkan.

Rowlands says "These are tracks that were made to DJ with. I gave them to Erol to road test; he loved them so it seemed a perfect fit for Phantasy – I love what he does with the label." SummersRadio™ New Music! Boys Noize & Erol Alkan featuring Jarvis Cocker - 'Avalanche (Terminal Velocity)' Well this is quite the collaboration - Germany's Alexander Ridha aka Boys Noize, London's Erol Alkan, and Pulp's Jarvis Cocker are three very talented musical gentlemen - so perhaps not surprisingly this is a uniquely powerful track - there is nothing else quite like it!
'Avalanche' began it's existence as an instrumental track by Boys Noize & Erol Alkan that was released as a single in April of last year. This new recording features the vocals of Jarvis Cocker and has been slighty renamed 'Avalanche (Terminal Velocity)'.
I've enjoyed Jarvis's forays into electronic music in recent years - including recording two songs with Air on their 2007 album 'Pocket Symphony' - and more recently last year's collaboration with Discodeine, which you can revist here:
