Montreal's Stars have just released a new song called 'Wishful' online today! 'Wishful' is one of two songs - along with 'The Light' - that are being released digitally and as a limited edition 7" single on September 10th. 'Wishful' starts out reminiscent of The Cure and it progresses with soaring synths that match Amy Millan's lovely vocals... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New EP + Free Downloads! Stars - 'Asleep'
Stars have just released a new EP called 'Far From Home' online today! The EP is released just a few weeks before the Montreal band head out on their Asian tour. 'Far From Home' features five tracks - four stripped down 'Breakglass Version'(s) of songs from their most recent album 'The North' - plus one great cover tune.
The 'Breakglass Version' of the title track was previously available as an itunes bonus track - but the others including 'Backlines', 'Lights Changing Colour' and 'Progress' have not been released until now. The fifth track on the EP is a cover of The Smiths classic song 'Asleep' which was previously only available on a children's charity music compilation called 'Sing Me To Sleep - Indie Lullabies'.

SummersRadio™ New Remix + Free Download! Stars - 'Backlines' (Eight And A Half Remix)/ 'The Theory Of Relativity' (Diamond Rings Remix)
Montreal's Stars have just released a new remix of their single 'Backlines' online! 'Backlines' is the third single released from the band's sixth full length album called 'The North' which was released in September on ATO Records (available on itunes).
The band (who are currently touring Europe) also just announced their 2013 North American tour today! They'll return to Vancouver after opening for Metric last month to headline their own shows in April with two shows (the first is all ages) at the Commodore on the 6th. Montreal's Stars have just released a new song online called 'The Theory Of Relativity'! The song is the first single from their forthcoming new album called 'The North'. 'The North' is the band's sixth studio album and it will be released on ATO Records on September 4th.
