SummersRadio™ New Music! Cut Copy - 'Need You Now' While I quite liked the Tim Goldsworthy remix of the first single 'Take Me Over' from Cut Copy's forthcoming new album 'Zonoscope' (posted on Dec. 28th http://summersradio.blogspot.com/2010/12/summersradio-new-remix-cut-copy.html) - I wasn't quite as thrilled with the original (posted on Nov. 22nd http://summersradio.blogspot.com/2010/11/summersradio-new-music-cut-copy.html). I just found it a bit too poppy - but now that the album's release has neared (it's out on Feb 8th!) a few more new tracks from the album have surfaced on the interweb. While this album opener 'Need You Now' certainly contains pop elements (holy OMD influence!) this song is more electronic and dancey than 'Take Me Over'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Cut Copy - 'Take Me Over' (Thee Loving Hand Remix) Cut Copy release their third album called 'Zonoscope' in February. The cover art - which looks a bit like Niagara Falls was moved to downtown New York city - is by the late Japanese photomontage artist Tsunehisa Kimura. 'Take Me Over' is the first single from the album and this new remix is by Thee Loving Hand aka Tim Goldsworthy - Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music! Cut Copy - 'Take Me Over' Cut Copy's new single 'Take Me Over' premiered on Australia's triple j radio this morning, and they posted this unedited version online just hours ago! It's pretty poppy - and chill - almost Roxy Music-ish. Guitarist Tim Hoey says that it's 'certainly one of the more pop moments on the album'. Their third full length entitled 'Zonoscope' - released on Modular Recordings - is due out in February. I look forward to some remixes on this one... Enjoy!
