SummersRadio™ New Remix! M83 - 'Midnight City' (Trentemoller Remix) M83 have just announced today that they're releasing a remix EP for their latest single 'Midnight City'! We first featured M83's new single back in July: http://summersradio.blogspot.com/2011/07/summersradio-new-music-free-download_20.html 

The 'MIdnight City' EP will be released digitally on September 26th and it will feature four remixes - one each from Trentemoller, Big Black Delta, Man Without Country and Team Ghost. I've only heard the 'Big Black Delta Remix' and the 'Trentemoller Remix' so far - and Denmark's Anders Trentemoller certainly wins this round - this is his remix of 'Midnight City'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! M83 - 'Midnight City' France's M83 have just released the first track from their forthcoming double album coming out in October! The song is called 'Midnight City' from the new album 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming' which is due for release on October 28th. M83's main man Anthony Gonzalez describes it thusly 'It's mainly about dreams, how every one is different, how you dream differently when you're a kid, a teenager, or an adult. I'm really proud of it. If you're doing a very long album, all the songs need to be different and I think I've done that with this one.'

It's interesting that 'Midnight City' is described as the 'first track' from the album, so I'm betting that it's most likely not an official first single - just a taster. (update: turns out it is the first single!) I'm still assessing this one - I like it but I'm not so big on the keyboard hook - the sound is a bit shrill. Perhaps I'll get used to it after a few more listens.
