Interpol have just released a new single and video online today called 'All The Rage Back Home'! 'All The Rage Bach Home' is the first single from the band's forthcoming new album (their fifth) called 'El Pintor', which is released September 8th on Matador Records. 'El Pintor' is Spanish for 'the painter' and it's also an anagram for Interpol.
'All The Rage Back Home' is rousing rocker that finds them sounding rather R.E.M.-ish (when they were still good). It begins quietly but you'll soon be singing along to the 'Hey hey hey's'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Paul Banks - 'The Base'/ Interpol - 'Not Even Jail'
Paul Banks - lead singer and guitarist for Interpol - has just released a new solo single online! 'The Base' is the first single from his forthcoming second solo album simply titled 'Banks'. 'Banks' is the follow up to his 2009 solo debut (released under the alias Julian Plenti) called 'Julian Plenti Is... Skyscraper'. His new album (sensibly released under his own name) will feature ten tracks and is released on October 22nd on Matador Records.
'The Base' ranks up there with some of Interpol's finest songs - although it has a noticeably different feel from their material - even his vocals sound different at times. The song features several tempo changes and it has an epic, almost progressive rock vibe to it - in a good way!

'Ruin' is the first song from her forthcoming new studio album (her ninth) called 'Sun' which features eleven tracks and is set for release on September 4th on Matador Records. It's her first release since 2008's covers album 'Jukebox', and six years since the release of her last album of original material - 2006's 'The Greatest'.

SummersRadio™ New Remixes + Free Download! Belle And Sebastian - 'I Didn't See It Coming' (Cold Cave Remix/ Richard X Remix) Glasgow's Belle And Sebastian released 'I Didn't See It Coming' as the second single from their most recent album called 'Write About Love' last fall. The song is an indie pop duet between lead singer Stuart Murdoch and Sarah Martin - who plays guitar, keyboards, violin and provides backing vocals in the band - and there are two brand new remixes coming out later this month!
These remixes will be included on their new EP called 'Come On Sister' which is released on July 26th - on vinyl only! The 12" will include the title track remixed by Tony Doogan, the album version of 'Blue Eyes Of A Millionaire' and two remixes of 'I Didn't See It Coming' - one by Richard X and one from Cold Cave. So first up we have the remix from Wes Eisold of Cold Cave - which is the more club friendly version of the two remixes. I really like Sarah Martin's vocals in this song - she sounds a bit like another Sarah - Sarah Cracknell of Saint Etienne... Enjoy!
