SummersRadio™ Best Of 2010! Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - 'Get Better'  While 'Sick Tonight' has obvious drum and bass influences they go for a more New Order synth style sound on this track 'Get Better' - which was the first single released from 'The Logic Of Chance'. Once again I think that their lyrics are brilliant - a couple of my favorite of many great lines/ observations in this one are 'Little kids being raised by slightly bigger kids' and 'I see small town syndrome growing in size'. This video was directed by longtime British music video director Richard Heslop who's very first video was The Smiths 'The Queen Is Dead'! He's also worked with The Cure, Sinead O'Conner, Queen, Happy Mondays, Curve, The Shamen, Suede and even New Order... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ Best Of 2010! Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - 'Sick Tonight' Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip seem rather underrated even in the U.K., and sadly they're virtually unknown in North America. Their second album called 'The Logic Of Chance' was released in March in the U.K. - and although released digitally it has yet to see a physical release here. 

They are a hip hop duo from Corringham and Essex respectively that combine electronic beats from quite a range of different styles. They also have clever lyrics - I like Dan's personal take on religion in this one - 'They say Jesus died for somebody's sins but God knows he didn't die for mine, Coz I'll stand accountable for my own damn sins each and every time'. They released 3 great singles and videos from 'The Logic Of Chance' - this one was the second, called 'Sick Tonight' - vomit has never looked so sparkly and cool... Enjoy!
